Getting "String not found" errors. Also cant target myself for buffs. I tried using a previous eq_str file.. that fixxed my string errors. but i think it makes world.exe crash or something.... cant remember

Not sure man i'm not a Dev and i know nothing about OP code errors hehe. I know theres alot of errors like that going around because DR4 is so buggy. I want to switch back to DR3 but i'm not sure how many people havent patched yet.

Indeed, most people should have several copies of eq for different revisions, i dont see a problem with switching back to dr3.

DR3 it is then be about 5min and i'll have it back up DR3. I liked it that way more anyways no errors and crap. More fun :-).

Try a different zone i logged in fine. it froze the first time but second was fine.

Do you know which patch date your using? Ive got like april28 and may12 backed up.... something close to that anyhow.

Either way, Im getting booted back to server select. Sigh I hate patches 4 reel.

Server Down atm sorry guys something got corrupted in the DB not sure how i may just start a new one zone.exe wont load past the npc_types. Dunno what to say.

New db is now being use characters got wiped still have old db if i figure out what happened i'll switch back but you guys probly wana play something.

Have you changed EMUsharemem/NPCTypes.h from 200000 to 400000 ? some of the older dr's dont have that updated yet.

It was working fine till my computer crashed because of lightening. Server is working atm but its on a temporary DB.

Sounds pretty cool, you should add pvp though, racial teams if possible :)

Darks - Troll, Ogre, DE
Human - Humans, Erudites, Barbarians
Shorts/Elves- Halfling, Gnome, Dwarf, Woodelfs, High Elves, Half Elves.

Could also move half elves to human and move gnomes to dark..

Do you plan to make this server DR4 soon?
