Viper check if there is any spaces in there, there cant be any otherwise it won't work, if u just copied and pasted then there is most likely space as shown below...

Do you use eqwindows?

if yes, eqw has some issues with the latest live patches.
try the 'eqgame.exe - patchme' command or wineq.

Well now I can connect and create a character, but when I enter world it starts to load then I am taken back to the server list.

ive gotten into one server, but it was the only one and it didn't have the newer char models, do you think it has something to do with that?

I dont get this. i just wanna know what to put in my eqhost file so i can play

I do that but it wont let me pass the chara select screen no matter what race i pick . i keep getting booted to the server select screen and is that for 5.8 servers or 5.9??

also getting opcodes

Revision 1.5 on sourceforge.net (11minutes old) is out. Hopefully they fixed quite a few things :P

Such as? Not many things are in the bug forum. Paste any bugs there, after all you guys know more than anyone what bugs there are that haqvent been fixed yet.
