Winters Roar and S2K just refused to update to the newer versions when they came out so Doodman agreed to keep the older login server up for them.

ask an innocent question and open up all sorts of cans of worms. my apologies if this got anyone hot under the collar. i was merely asking the original question for historical sake. i'm kind of new here and before i had discovered eqemulator.net, i had poked around (several years ago) on the hackersquest.com site but that was a dead end as far as i could tell.
