well i created the account, but getting username/passwowrd invalid like the topic states... unable to even get into create a character on this account

O cool missed the response on how you found the problem.

Im having the log in problem. My acount name is MSIMagus18. If you need ANYTHING else just request. Im checking in frequently while just playing D2 anyways.

I am having the invalid account/password problem as well.

Accounts: WeinC and Wein_C

All those accounts that you guys have posted so far were activated before I posted the first time....

Activated or not still getting the problem. Get to log in screen give my name and password get an error.

I am able to log to the forums, however when ever I try to log to the server select I get "A conection to the server could not be reached"

Notwithstanding the issue with people creating new accounts over the last couple of days, if you are trying to login to 5.9/6.0 servers, your eqhost.txt should be:

Use Right-Click/Save As and overwrite your eqhost.txt rather than copying/pasting it to avoid extraneous spaces.

Try switching to 5994 or 5995 sometimes those work for others.

Wein your saying you DIDNT patch and its working fine now? Right after I finish this dungeon in D2 ill try again.....if thats the case might try unpatched as well.........

If I have it at 994 it brings me to a blank server list. Are you guys getting in compltly? And if so can ya tell me the EXACT thing your EQhost.txt is set to as well if you ran a patcher or did it manually.

I know. Mine is set at 5994. It just brings me to a blank server page.

Hmmmmm sometimes when I log in on my one acount it says you have expansions you can DL. Iv always clicked no figuring its something EQ not EQEmu related and might screw things up. Could DLing help the blank server problem?

Are you guys patching up to date or not? Someone a page or so ago said he had it working but made it sound like it was without patching.

I finally got mine working... I forgot to do the optional patches on the EQLive patcher... after I checked all the expansion boxes, and downloaded all those patches... Then I had to re-download the uifiles and help file... After that, it started up fine for me...

Where do you find the UI and help file DLs? Iv checked every single box on my advanced patcher cept the language options and dont see those 2 anywhere....hoping that if thats what got things working for you will work for me.......

Just noticed something.......it doesnt matter if I put my password in correctly or not. I can type in some random letters like adkfjaidfka and it logs me in the exact same as if I use my correct pass. Wondering if its even reconizing me or what.....

Christ this thing hates me. I uninstalled EQ then COMPLTLY deleted EVERY File I had relating to EQ to make a complete whipe of the game.

Reinstalled and tried setting the game up without patching since someone made it sound like it worked for them that way.......didnt for me. Tried patching but not advanced patching........still no go.....finally did advanced as well.....still it hates me. Iv probally spent 30+ hours trying to get this to work now and it just doesnt want to go.

it should work now for ya magus. works for me. make shure you have the 3 main things. EQhost.txt file or for me, just "eqhost"*but it is a txt file* your shortcut to eqGAME.exe *must be game, otherwise you will patch over your changes you made to the host file* and updated to live, should b fine after that

Sorry if I was being unclear; I patched under the advance setting but not the scorpion2K patch.

Port is newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5994 and only other change was the short-cut. Everything else is untouched after the EQLive patching.
