One thing I noticed with the bots. My tank bot wasn't holding aggro and my cleric was getting it all. Then I discovered #bot taunt on and it works good now. You do have to use the command every time you zone.

ONLINE CHANGES - 05/11/12
I Have began adding new code to the path npcs which will prevent players from choosing more than one path now as originally intended. Players can turn their charms into the new Path Changer NPC in the guild lobby to unlock the ability to become something different within their guild. I have the warriors done right now and should have the rest of the classes done in a couple days. Please keen in mind I will be doing a final purge of charms on bots to finally get the server balanced where it needs to be. With this change I feel the experience could be toned up a bit now so I will probably up it a couple notches. |

The server will be coming down at 05/14/12 - 12:00pm MST. The estimated downtime is 2 hours. NOTE TO ALL PLAYERS: Bots will be purged of all charms while the server is down tomorrow. I have added code to all NPC paths which finally brings Varlyndria to the balance I originally intended. Players can no longer get more than one charm and the only way they can change paths is by turning their current charm into the new PATH CHANGER npc located in the Guild Lobby. |

Bots are back to normal and group buff, cap at 5 and have extremely fast mana regen. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE SERVER IS UP BUT IT DOESN'T CURRENTLY SHOW ON THE LAUNCHER LIST REGISTERED. (WORKING ON FIXING THIS) Look for ! Varlyndria at the top of the white list. |
SMALL UPDATE 05/16/12
Resistance bonuses for being higher level that the caster have changed in the casters favor. The target will no longer gain 5% per level higher than the caster but instead now gain 2%. This will allow a level 25 caster going against a level 45 enemy almost a 50% chance to land their attacks instead of 100% resists as before. Pets no longer steal exp of any kind. |

The clicky is the old proc spell. The weapon models have been nerfed for tradable items. This change was to bring Conjurer's into their own realm instead of being used as bot suppliers only. Conjurer's can still supply bots and other players with nice stat weapons but the day of 5 berserker bots with conjured proc weapons is over. Conjurer's can also summon a nice 1 handed sword now too. (as per request) __________________________________________________ _____________________________ Diablo The Lord Of Terror and Gorbatroth the Crusher have had their health nerfed by 60% because of the new changes to conjured weapons. __________________________________________________ _____________________________ Clerics now gain a large amount of fire spells from the wizard class. UPDATED FROM THE BOXING VOTE - MY FINAL WORD
The vote is over. 2 boxing will be enforced and I am sorry for all the trouble and if this seems unfair. I've made my mind up. I can't allow players to have that kind of power solo. It defeats the entire purpose of a raid (multiple people fighting together) and allows players to solo raids.. I just can't allow this anymore and its hurting the server. IPs will become 2 max and this will never change. Thanks for the small pole but ultimately I have to balance the server and allowing that power is not a good thing. I apologize to anybody who feels this sucks or is unfair but giving you the ability to have your entire own raid is eliminating the entire point of raiding with friends and guilds and ultimately crushes the aspect of players working together. The change will take effect immediately. |
I feel the 2 box rule cheats players who were using the original 3 box rule since the birth of the server. I will be putting it back to 3 and it will stay 3. This will also help FAMILIES who want to play on the server a lot more than 2. Sorry for mix up and bullshit. What's not broken doesn't need to be fixed. With this said: Do not ask me for personal favors on changing these rules.

This should fix a good deal of charms or items that seem broken. __________________________________________________ ______________ All charms now have Rank 1 at the end of them. This is to show players it's the first charm and you'll be able to upgrade them in a later update. __________________________________________________ ______________ Warchanters have a new animation on their charm's proc. __________________________________________________ ______________ Terrorizers now have their fear/snare as a recourse on their charm spell. This allows them to toss the dot on bosses or other creatures that are immune to these effects. In addition, the spell now deals instant damage along with its dot ticks. __________________________________________________ ______________ Cryomancers now have their snare effect as a recourse on their charm spell. This allows them to hit bosses or other creatures with thier ice nuke even if they are immune to the snare. This also allows the spell to critical strike, making the path a lot stronger. The damage of the spell has also been increased to 475 at level 20 up from 415. These spells can be used every 5 minutes and gain level+1 x50 damage/healing These are excellent alternatives to the harmtouch/lay on hands and can be used much more often. __________________________________________________ ________________________________ Path charm spells are now almost impossible to resist. __________________________________________________ ________________________________ The Terrorizer charm now has a 100% snare as well as its damage over time, but the fear effect has been removed. (there will be a quick optional use fear clicky on their sword in update 1.0) The spell is now called Curse Of Crippling Torment Rank 1. This spell can be used on custom bosses with no problems. __________________________________________________ ________________________________ The Cryomancer charm has been changed. It is now usable every 6 seconds down from 15 but the snare has been nerfed to 50% and the damage can never critical hit. This still lets them do very close to the damage of a pyromancer and still reign as the kiting wizard gods of Varlyndria. __________________________________________________ ________________________________ Wildheart's Groves Serenity spell now heals for 40 a tick regen for 30 minutes at level 20 instead of 20 points. __________________________________________________ ________________________________ Sharphin has changed his strategy a bit and now drops a couple new weapons!
