will characters be kept from beta?

we will try it .. unless we run in real troubles we will keep them.

I say we need to see how much balancing of the classes is needed before we make a decision to keep or reset characters after beta. I haven't been able to do much in the balancing department. It's kinda hard to do without players to interact with :( Soooo, call all your friends up and tell them to get ready very soon to come help us test :) Probably one of the most customized servers in Eqemu ever. Lots of unique items, quests, and features added in that you wont see anywhere else.

hmm the forum is working try firefox ;) or use the back key at the internet explorer once you get the error message. the beta didn't start yet.. we'll announce it a few hours before we start

ETA: Now I cant seem to access it at all without giving me cannot display page, does the forum not support IE 7.0?

i tested it with the ie7 and had a few issues .. like hitting the back button to few a page but posts + viewing the page works for me.

I haven't had any problems with it at all on the latest firefox. I very rarely use IE. If you keep having trouble give Firefox a shot.

( Wait until the beta starts, Aza is in the process of getting a complete patch together to post now, the one up there right now is outdated and will not help you )

Without it lots of NPC's will appear Human, and some spells or items may not show up correctly. Also remember there is still a ton of work to be done as far as adding quests/loot which is being worked on now. This beta test is mostly going to be testing all of the code changes that have been made for bugs. It will also play a big part in my testing class balance. I will be making a non GM char to lvl up and beta test with you to test balancing more. So if you've ever wanted to pvp Paaco you know where to find me ;p

What browser are you using? Forum works fine for me with newest Firefox.
