Yes I cannot wait either... literally!!! I have the emulator configured and ready to go but for some reason I cannot get my EQ trilogy to connect to the server. Can you post a patch or info on how to mod the client end? I wanna get this working with minilogin at least... I NEED IT!!!!!!

NO.......He stated this is done with a hacked kunark client. I have a kunark CD which is everquest trilogy... classic, velious, and kunark. I am trying to use it with emulator 2.3 but not able to get it to work and I think it is due to the client since sak stated his client is hacked. I want the "hack" or patch for it so i can get it to work even if it's just by myself. Please sak!! I need it!! (Desperately seeking retro EQ!!!) That is before Sony messed it all up. I have my own titanium server right now. I hate it. I want the original everquest UI and models. i can get the old models to work with titanium but it;s not enough.

As stated earlier I do not have access to my files right now except the database.

It's looking good! When do you think you'll have a playable beta?

I do not plan on having a playable beta as such, before public release I am going to let a select few (that have allready been selected) try it out for a day or 2 to make sure all is ok and then it will be publicly available.

As for a time frame I am hoping to have this out within a few weeks of my arrival back in England (I leave the US christmas eve.)

As stated before this will be far from perfect but it will be playable with a full mob, item, and loot database.

My wish is that there will be enough people wanting to play and work on this together to get it working to its full potential. I hope that people will share here any fixes and updates that will make it as good as I am sure it can be.

Can we get an update?
 

Looking back, there's traffic on this thread every few weeks with more information. I wonder if I could bug you for an update, Sakrateri. I'm definitely interested in contributing to the success of your project :) Just let me know when I can give it a whirl.

This is the version of EQ that I am using Kunark

You can get that which will work out of the box or if you register on my forums you will be able to get a program that hacks the exe and then be able to use any version you like.

I am about ready to give this out including the EQEMu2.3 with a database sql to source in that is populated up to PoP.

Just doing a little more testing to make sure it is going to work ok for everyone and then it will be available.
