danipunk 11-24-2003 11:46 AM

 blink is a big shit brother.
This group shows how disgusting is the american society. But, go, listen it and spend money, one day will find that you are dead and hadn't done nothing.
You are too arrogant and I hope that soon someone will kick your american big asses.

Hispanic Anarchy Against American Capitalists (H.A.A.A.C)
You ar killing the world, and the world will kill you.

arkaria 11-24-2003 11:54 AM

LOL

I see some nasty comments commin to this post.

I have found Americans to be quite nationalistic.
Be they Wrong or Right they don't take criticism of their country well. Not that anyone likes critical remarks about their country, but some take them better and more objectivly than others :)

Trumpcard 11-24-2003 12:53 PM

I think most of us can take criticism well, but we tend to not like to be generalized , or epitomized as evil, or threatened..

We have children, sisters, brothers, mothers just like everyone else born on this world, and we value most of the same things. The only things that truly set us apart are geographic in nature..

Dani, you obviously have issues you need to work through, despite your obvious shortcomings, i bear you no ill will, though it pains me that you could wish us harm. Many could look back on Spain and comment that you once (and may still) possess the arrogance you claim is ours. The spanish ruthlessly exploited the new world, victimized several south american indian nations (some to extinction), robbed, pillaged, plundered in their search for the seven cities of gold and the fountain of youth...

How is our society disgusting ? How are we killing the world ? You make vague accusations but no concrete examples.

The people that are 'killing' the world are those that can hate without understanding the targets of their ire. Do you even know why you hate us , or are you just following the crowd and hating for the sake of hate itself, with no real reason for such negative emotions? Are you told to hate us, or do you have a real reason too ?

Stealth_raptor 11-24-2003 01:36 PM

I don't hate Americans...I do think some are idiots though. For example, your president. If you want me to back this up with evidence...i'd be more than happy to do so :D

Edit: Since I saw that video of American soldiers bursting into a home full of women and children at night, I am against what they have done and do and are planning to do there (in Iraq). That kind of thing severely traumatises children... (just thought i'd bring this up on the account that this may bring up this issue :))

To Trumpcard,

First of all, I born in Spain, but I not consider me as a spanish.
They are not like me, and I am not like these spanishs that had murdered thousands of amazonic indians.
I know that in all places and countries are idiots and are kind people too, but the "typical american way of think" is money.
You defend a president (with your votes) that is in the power since two years ago. In these two years Mr oBush has done 2 wars, one each year. First afganistan, after Irak.

WHAT WILL BE THE NEXT? I'm sure that this won't be Spain. Our stupid President (not mine, but i live in spain) is sucking the ass of mr bush, and he dont attack us. They only attack POOR and 3rd world countries. Do you think its good? Your president is killing in name of each american, in your name. And you, only clap your hands. Its cool yeah?

This is what I see your way of think is. And the entire world has seen it.

Im sorry, cause my intention only was to make a critic of your way of life (very materialist too) and without wanting this has became out of my hands.
If I has offended someone, sorry, but the things are like this.

I only wanna add one more thing :

When the Twin Towers fall in 11S, I drink a toast with my friends and make a big party with a big big joint.

Just keeps getting better.

This poor soul is going about this the wrong way. His solution is the wrong one but some of his observerations are acurate.

Stealth_raptor 11-25-2003 12:42 PM

America's attack on Iraq was ruthless and the world now sees that the justification for making 'war' with that country was a lie. Iraq was disarming before America decided to attack (Can anyone tell me how cowardly it is to ask a country to disarm and then attack it once it starts doing so?).

As for removing Saddam...maybe it was good...but at least he was able to run the country (we all have our ways of doing things, his was just 'less civilised' than Bush would have liked it to have been...and it was that way with the American people too (and many others)).

There is no law that says you can attack a rogue state for posession of nuclear weapons. That is legal.

By attacking Iraq, America IGNORED the UN...destroying its credibility and legitimacy.

Edit: Just wanted to add...

Quote:

Sanctions against Saddam's regime have been responsible for the death of approximately 500,000 children within Iraq since they began 12 years ago.
Quote:

If one nation perceives itself to be under threat from another, it may approach the Security Council who will then assess the existence or nature of the threat and sanction appropriate measures. No nation, unless attacked, may act unilaterally with military force.
(Part of the UN charter which the US has agreed to)

America also has the right to stop a UN inspection on its soil and can prevent any American sample being analysed in another country. (Who is running this world?)

I did NOT sterotype Americans if you were talking about my post...first of all. (George speaks for America as a country...I at no point stated that the American people made war on each country (although, I know some wanted to))

As for all Americans being power hungry pigs....thank goodness you all aren't.

Trumpcard 11-25-2003 11:01 PM

If all these claims about America were true, you guys would all have been dead years ago... Capitilistic, yes.. We're not any different than most civilized countries..

As for America and the war, I dont disagree , we had shakey reasons for going in there in the first case. As far as the UN goes though, the UN has always been useless in my mind, UN sanctions have had little or no effect on anyone... The american people had NOTHING to do with the governments decision to go into iraq... In fact, the vast majority of us dont want us to be there.. I have a brother in law that is in the military that is stationed in Bagdad. Does he want to be there? No.. Do we as his family? No..

But Dani, anyone that toasts when innocents are ruthlessly murdered, regardless of where they are from, is an idiot.. You were gaining credibilty in my mind while i was reading that post until i came across that. Once you said that, you proved to me that my initial impressions regarding you were correct...

Should I wish your family death? Should I laugh when you father dies and wish the same for your mother ? I'm guessing you're a kid, because your comments certainly indicate that..

We live in this country, that doesnt mean we agree with every decision that is made.. And you still havent given any concrete reasons for hating the US other than 'I dont like George Bush'..

You're not a punk, you're a dumbass....

a_Guest03 11-26-2003 02:43 AM

Our media lies to us, and your media lies to you. If you think that you can stop your military any faster than we can stop ours, I challenge you to do so. Find the truth among the lies, do the right thing, and save the world. Oh, you don't have time, or the facts? Nobody gave you a militia or a political backing? You don't have the time and money to do this while you earn a living or go to school?

Don't blame me for our "great injustice". If I could've voted on the war, and I could trust my media, I would do the right thing. Otherwise it's a crapshoot.

Stealth_raptor 11-26-2003 03:57 PM

Ok, wrote a reply up before but my internet got disconnected. lol

First up; Sanctions kill millions of people each year, not only in Iraq. They are, in my mind, the biggest injustices in this world. For how many they kill...they morally acheive nothing.

The UN needs more power. It needs to be able to stop countries from going to war with each other and have the force to do it. There SHOULD be more strict penalties for countries if rules are broken...but unfortunately there aren't.

Yes, the media does lie to everyone, only telling the people the things that wont hurt their country and allies of their country. You may see those that are rejoicing because Saddam's reign is over, but you hardly ever see those that do not want any military force occupying their country, other than their own (You also don't see the harassment...but I wont go there).

I hope American soldiers are permitted to leave. What George W. Bush is doing may just be causing more chaos for the future. Oh and...I forgot, you can watch your dollar drop for the next few years because of him.

Jajajajaja (spanish laught)
And you (farrenz) can call PUNK yourself? Punks , not american punks, look that its different, dont trust in countries, or states, or... nothing.
You are not a punk, you are an american punk more of the system. The american punks, usually call themselves as punks, but wear like hip-hop bands, except ribons and stuff. Punks that I related, are like UK punks, and like spanish punks. You are a plastic punk.
Please, in the next time, make a specification between PUNKS and AMERICAN PUNKS. Only to call the things for his name.

Another thing, is that in spain the republicans are the "radical" part of population, because Spain has a king who rulez the State. And the republicans here are people who wants the king dead. Wants the power for the people. Its very different.

I only was talking about the impression that americans give to the world.

Trumpcard, do you know how much people had killed the US in the last century? There will be like the nazis more or less.
-How many nations had launched a nuclear bomb to another country? Only USA. Twice, Hiroshima/Nagasaki
-Do you know the number of children that died in the first Irak War in 1991, without counting the adults and women? 130000aprox.

Like these, I can say you more and more examples of War and destruction made by the USA , sometimes in name ofthe good fo the world people, or the freedom or... anything.
These are GOOD reasons for you?
If you look at the numbers and you had done maths in school you know that 130000 children dead is MORE big than 5000 (+o-) people that died on 11S.
And if you think a little is logic that if the US had killed 130000 children in Irak, they at least, would try to kill the more americans possible.
Trump, we are from different cultures, if you think its logic to have differences. But you cant deny that USA is the most belic country in the last...century.
I belive in violence, but for change for good. Sometimes Speaking you cant get anything. In that cases violence can be accepted, in others like the USA militars use it, its not accepted.

P.D: I have heard someone saying that rancid sucks. Rancid is the best PUNK group from the american. Its not american punk.

Rancid is from America...wtf are you talking about, but I do agree that they are awsome, Along with Anti-Flag, The Casualties, The Exploited, F-Minus, The Unseen, Operation Ivy, and The Virus (not to mention the 100's of other local bands).

Stealth_raptor 11-27-2003 01:45 PM

Speaking can get you someplaces, although it's the lack of wanting to compromise that upsets things. A child wants an apple, another child wants that same apple, cut it in half. Unfortunately...that's not always the case...and the bigger child usually gets the apple.

DaGrahamster 11-27-2003 03:49 PM

Wow....Danipunk....wow.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of America either. I am an American, but the way this country is going nowadays.....
Ever since 9/11 we have basically become ultra-power-trip egomaniacal self-righteouss bastards. People (not ALL people, but almost all the people in power both politically and corporately) in the country are in general greedy, shallow, prejudice, hypocritical, violent-prone, prudish, closed-minded, and as I said before, self-righteouss. I don't even want to live in this country when I'm an adult.

That is not to say that they are bad people. I don't hate anyone, no matter what their actions or beliefs, and no matter what their beliefs, I think they have the right to think, and to (non-violently) express that. That is freedom of speech and I strongly believe in that.

There's a quote, I don't know who said it, but it goes something like:
"I don't agree with what you say, but I would give my life for your right to say it."

I would give my life for that too, and that is the essence of America, of what America is SUPPOSED to be, but sadly, isn't anymore.

But what you said about 9/11 Danipunk:
Quote:

When the Twin Towers fall in 11S, I drink a toast with my friends and make a big party with a big big joint.
That's just ignorant and does nothing to help the state the world is in. that only acts to spread hate. Those were civilians. They were people who had their own beliefs and no matter what they were, they didn't deserve to die just because of who they are.

That said, the same goes for Muslims. I can't stand it when people persecute Muslims for 9/11. That's not what Islam is about. That's not what any religion is about.

P.S. Farrenz, love the quote man.
Quote:

Pretty gross generality, but yeah. So true, so true.

You should all read a little book (graphic novel, really) called Watchmen, and for that matter, V For Vendetta. In both of those there are many parallel themes to what is said in this forum.

OMG I'm speechless when I see such idiotic statements , Have you ever been to a concentration camp ? Have you ever saw the pile of hair that were used to make carpet ? Have you ever saw the crematory oven ?
America never started a war that killed 50 millions people and organized the extermination of a whole population.

and USA started the second world and attacked the japan at first...
I don't see your point , theses bombs were launch to stop the war , japan would have not surrender until the destruction of their whole country and this would have cost far more lives and consequences of atomic bomb weren't well known too.

Quote:

-Do you know the number of children that died in the first Irak War in 1991, without counting the adults and women? 130000aprox.
USA weren't alone in the first Irak war (almost 50 countries) unfortunatly there is no "clean war" and do you really thinks it's better to let rogue state invade others and do nothing ? with people like you nazis would still own the whole Europe.
I disagree 2e Irak war , but first one was justified. I'm french , I disagree with USA foreign policy on many things especially on unjustified war like viet-nam (french decolonization war at first...) but you can't blame USA on first and second world war nor can you on first Irak war. and when you say:

Quote:

USA is the most belic country in the last...century
you're statement is maybe true for the last 2 years and Mr bush , but no way for whole century , your memory seems to be very selective , germany maybe ? 2 world war and 60 millions death isn't enough for you ... USA has done a lot for the world with no real profit in return , lots of mistake too (Pinochet for exemple...)

Stealth_raptor 11-27-2003 11:26 PM

Do you Americans (yes i'm talking about ALL of you) still call Pearl Harbour a stab in the back?

Also, those bombs were dropped on innocent people. Women and children... It is the same as 9/11, except it's only right because America did it and no one really cares that more than a million innocent people were killed.

At this point, you may be thinking, but the Japanese attacked first...Well those terrorists aren't p*ssed off for nothing, go find out why they're annoyed. Also, both targets WERE civilian...

If I ever hear anyone say that the Japanese people deserved that...I can honestly say that you, if you are in your right mind, should be put under hospitalisation. Do you know what happens when an atomic bomb is dropped? Have you seen pictures of the third degree burns people suffer THAT HAVE NOT DIED (ESPECIALLY CHILDREN OF LESS THAN 5 YEARS OF AGE!)?!

dolanorn 11-28-2003 04:51 AM

Quote:

No of course japanese people didn't deserved that , the fact are that the bomb ended the war , without the bomb most historian agree that the war would have lasted at least one more year, japanese population was fanatized and ready to die for their country, and that would have cost far more innocent lives in final.

Quote:

Well those terrorists aren't p*ssed off for nothing, go find out why they're annoyed. Also, both targets WERE civilian...
I agree with you it's not the people who start the war who suffer their consequences, Leaders should pay... That remind me of Offpsring: "In a world with no leader, who start the wars ?"

Quote:

Do you Americans (yes i'm talking about ALL of you) still call Pearl Harbour a stab in the back?
I am not American. Japan was a rogue state since early 30's (invasion of China , Korea 300 000 korean girl were used as sexual slave by japanse army during the war...) I don't see what is so wrong with the idea of a surprise attack... , of course USA and Japan had a influence war in pacific ocean but is that a reason for real war ? Japanese imperialism was well known , USA had an isolationist tradition back then.
Roosevelt wanted a war with Germany (atlantic chart in 1941) but with Japan ? Honestly I'm not an expert of American policy toward Japan back then but you cannot say that 2e WW wasn't a "right" war anyway.

Not nessicarily, there are alot of different kinds of punks. Punk has more to do with state of mind and the actions you make more than your living conditions.

DaGrahamster 11-28-2003 06:19 AM

I don't agree with dropping the Atom bombs on Japan.

The fact that the war would have lasted longer is not irrelevant at all, but it was based on speculation. The Japanese were not fanatized. Their leaders were. They were drunk on being one of the most powerful countries in the world after hundreds of years of self-imposed exile.

Though I don't agree with what happened at Pearl Harbor, all is fair in love and war, and there is nothing "wrong" with a sneak attack (though I don't believe in violence). And if you know your history at all, it wasn't a stab in the back. The United States ceased to supply Japan with food and munitions (why we were doing so in the first place I don't know) and so they retaliated. By the way, if surprise attacks are all bad and unfair, then what do u have to say about what George Washington did to the German mercenaries during the Revolutionary War. Ya know after he crossed the Deleware River and took them by surprise, drunk after Christmas partying.

And as for why those terrorists are pissed off:
1. They hate Jews for many reasons, the oldest one being the story of Israel and Ishmael. Go find your local Bible and read that story.
2. They hate Westerners (and Christians especially) for many reasons, the oldest being the Crusades. Yes I know that was a loooong time ago, but it was one of the worst acts of pointless slaughter in history. The Muslims were actually rather nice to Jews and Christians before the Crusades. They were free to live in the Islamic Empire....until the Crusades that is. Thats when things turned around.
3. The Gulf War. Americans apparently went into sacred Islamic land in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War and so that's why a lot of Saudi Arabian terrorists are so pissed off.
4. Americans just basically has huge egos that need to be taken down a notch (Their logic not mine, well ok mine too but not with violence)

Just thought yall would like to know.

Stealth_raptor 11-28-2003 06:39 AM

Based upon the fact that in some American schools, students were taught that the attack on Pearl Harbour was a 'stab in the back'.

Edit: If you look deeper...it's believed the American government knew it was going to happen.

Who sends aircraft carriers out to sea without protection?

A sneak attack is when a country attack another without war declaration so pearl harbour was a sneak attack , even if it was foreseeable.
