I'm trying to keep the server up 24/7 with as little downtime as possible. But since this is a dev server, i want to keep the server running the latest code/TCS_spawnDB for testing. For this reason, the server may come down at any time WITH or WITHOUT warning (I almost always give 2-5+ minute warning though) and all characters/items/features are not perminant (although a char wipe is very rare).

If you find any bugs please open the /bug window and fill that out. Do not petition bugs as they will probably be disgarded.

Let me know what ya think of the server.

Need to make some restrictions on some commands. Such as in Arena with people spawning level 100 mobs and charming you and constantly killing you over and over cause you can't die to bind point.

Well i'm trying to give people as much freedom as possible without making the server chaotic.. i have been nerfing command/items and banning people that continue to abuse them.. but its not always enough.

Now I just need a way to restrict SpellID's lol.

You might try that people need to at least get to level...20 or 30?? Before they get their full admin priveledges, and if they get it will a BSD(big soul devouerer) and a COWA(can o whoop ass) then they only get a certain amount. And you could also decide to lower the status, and those that are friendly get GM upped, I don't know, just a suggestion. Anyway I love your server, and I'd bow down to you but I'm sitting in my boxers and they would rip ( :shock: )

If they're all GMs, they're level 20 with one command.

I think alot of people like the server because its not semi-legit or legit. You can log in, do almost whatever you want and make believe your a GM on eqlive (sorta)..

a char named Mangler charmed me and made me
attack the NPCs in the arena. i told him to stop, but he didnt...
just thought u should know, so u can take these lamers
off status or even better, off the server...

I would suggest removing the ability to cast Metamorphis65, thats getting really annoying.

Other then that I love your server, I wish mobs had correct stats though, but thats a serverwide EQEmu thing, hopefully done in the future. You know like mobs say in elemental Poair not hitting for what they should be or casting spells they normally would, or ae abilities etc.

I just wish your server and Raid Addicts was on the same version, top 2 servers, along with Guild Wars, all different play styles, all stable, all almost always up.

Fufu was also charming people, he charmed me i had to shut down my computer cuz he wouldnt dispell charm :(

iv never been charmed before but if you can still type while charmed.. just type /q instead of shutting off your whole computer;)

Nice to see AA's working
 

It's always nice to see AA's working, with their respectable titles as well. Shawn's has PoP advancement working as well, something nice 8)

Charm spells have been restricted, not to mention no more #cast =P

sorry it had to go.

Good, I hate #cast, its fun every once in a while, but not non stop on such a stable server like yours.

Gotta love your server. its one of the few that i can accually log onto though

Its nice to be able to get away from lvling a character up on a live server

I have a 55druid on Veeshan for EQlive

and it sucks trying to get a group all the time. and with your server, i can just summon one weapon... (big soul devouerer) and i could solo things in POJ

I also like being able to get up to lvl 65 and having fights in the arena.

But, i dont like being disconnected whenever i zone, and not being able to log back in as that character. sucks when i twink a warrior with Raex armor then i zone into Lake Rathe or whatever and i get disconnected then i cant log back in as that character so i have to make another one.

Although i did read about the coding, and how fast you server providers put it in so we could play over the holidays.. and how uhh, what was the words... you made the coding so fast and cheap? was it? i dunno but i heard that you made the code fast and not as good. that, thats why we get disconnected and stuff

Is there anyway we can get characters that don't start in the nexus?

I don't have Luclin so it makes playing on the server kinda.. impossible.

Download the luclin files from eqlive next time. Then start in the Nexus.

For some reason it says im banned from your server, i logged on and made a char or two but i dont remember doing anything wrong, i never even talked ooc ? is this a bug or did i really do something bad ? please let me know.

I'd LOVE to play on yoru server, but I don't have nexus in my eq dir. Why does it make every character start there? How bout standard EQ starting places?

Great server! Best of them all imo. It's the only one I play on. Awesome job!

Not to beat a dead horse but, good server, gives me the chance to takes on mobs in the different Planes that I cant do without a fullgroup. Plus, I like beating up on my own race which I cant do on eqlive :twisted:

Just a couple suggestions, one of course is that it would be nice to see AA working again, I know it went haywire with the GoD patch but do you know if it will be up again soon? And why are epics GM summon only? They aren't that great, I just want em to look cool. And the bard songs dont seem to work to full effect, it's like instrument mods dont work at all. Other than that, it's a great server, even if having your pet on top of you all the time is annoying lol.

GoD broke aa's for us.. wee need to re-packetcollect people training and using AA's...

the epics (and some other items) were flagged as GMOnly from the collected items database. no idea why but they are this way on live.

when dueling snare/root does not help because people hotkey #goto and instantly pop to the fighter. <--dont like

paladins spam unresistable stuns. <--dont like
