RELEASE: Item Editor 1.9.1
Welp 1.9 just plain sucked :( Basically I spent maybe 5 mins updating it to current item database and it showed. Below is the editor and an archive of the item database that is compatible with this version.
Download: Item Editor 1.9.1 Database: Item Database 3-16-04 Changes in 1.9.1: - Fixed item saving - Fixed Deities - Added Berserker class - Fixed up the UI a bit, moved 2 fields from unknown and fixed tab order - Changing the value of: str/sta/agi/dex/cha/wis/int/resists above 127 will automatically change the value to 127 - Model viewing button disabled again |
Yey.
|
Hmm, not seeing Berserker class on the drop down menu. Then again it's not in my list of classes in my DB, so might that be the problem? If it is, how would I add it, as I don't have the class number or anything. Thanks in advance

I still dont see Berserker either.. and it should just be a single number referencing the class |
Thanks again Magnoo :D
Another quick fix , thankies |

hmm items don't save still... Zerker shows up now though
|
Saves just fine, make sure you have the right database structure.
|
Ah was connecting to out dated local db lol my bad
|
<--- Newbie when using this.
How exactly do I use the Mangoo Item Editor? I downloaded dumpeditems.sql and extracted to EQEmu folder I downloaded Mangoo's Item Editor 1.9.1 and extracted to EQEmu folder. Start-up Item Editor Asks for: Database Name: (do I type dumpeditems.sql?) Database User: (do I put my mysql username?) Database Pass: (do I put my mysql password?) Database Location: (what exactly goes here?) Database Directory: I'm guessing C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest Trilogy would be correct? Thanks. |
lmao nm.. fixed it :p
but when i go to Item -> New Item and put in "1 to ___" it looks likes its loading then pops the list back up again and nothing happens... anyone know whats wrong ? Also (edit) when I click on any item on the list it looks like its loading again then brings up 1 of those error things where it says it has to shutdown and asks if i want to send error report. anyone nkow whats wrong here also? o.O |
You aren't using the correct item db structure.
|
thanks, what do i use? o.O
|
Try out the one mangoo linked to above, that should work.
|
Item Database 3-16-04
? |
|
I extracted that to the EQEmu folder where the Item Editor is located and when I try to click on an item it brings up the windows error again.
|
used 1.5 instead and its working fine now
|
like the post a few posts ago..

Database Name: ??????? Database User: ??????? Database Pass: ??????? Database Location: ?????? Database Directory: ?????? |
You should probably play on a current server.
|
i dotn wanna play on a current server i didnt really ask that.. i wanted to no what to do.. unlike some people i like to learn and get smarter as i get older i already dont have a life i dont want to spend the the time i have sitting here playing a game again can somone answer my previous question?
|
Well since you didn't grasp killspree's point and this question comes up rather too often, here it is...
Database Name: <name of your database> Database User: <mysql login name> Database Pass: <mysql login password> Database Location: <server ip> EQ Directory: <everquest directory> Pretty straight forward. |
Example:
Database Name: eq Database User: Kaio Database Pass: gumballs Database Location: localhost EQ Directory: c:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest Trilogy\ |
:-/
i no it looks like a really dumb question and i already have it filled it just like use said its just i had other probloms i didnt see right away that was keeping me from oping the database.. and ill never crasp what he says  cause when i get my mind on doing somthing i finish it
|
An error show sup everytime i click on an item on the list.. what's wrong? 1.8 works good but , this one errors always pop up when i click an item
|
The item database structure changed, Loosenut.
|
Since the spell effects aren't sorted alphabetically(sp), is there a list in which I can look up the IDs?
|
Any eta on windows error fix?
|
It's fixed, if it's crashing it's because you need the latest ID structure, download the dumpeditems.sql.gz.
|
how do I do this?
I keep getting a database error (could not connect to database) every time I try to load the item database, have it set up like this:
Database name: Dumpeditems Database user: eqemu database password: eqemu database location: 24.50.145.82(ip address used for server) Everquest Directory: C:\Program Files\Everquest anyone know the right way to set this up(also tried extracting, putting in .sql with unzipped and zipped versions) BTW, also using updated DB(I think, the one Mangoo posted) |

Okay...I've searched and couldn't find an answer to this...
How do I add haste to an item with this? I see haste as a spell effect, but how do you add haste to items like: fbss 19% hangman's noose 16% schw 21% cloak of flames 36% etc... Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks. |
The item editor is broken as of the latest item table changes from 5/20/04 CVS http://cvs.biosprite.net :(
