Cannot login with accounts created since late last night.
 

Ok all of my friends are about to play and we all have accounts except 1. She tried to make an account and when we she trys to login in game she gets invalid user/pass.

So I was like ok she must be doing something wrong or typing something wrong. So I tried creating a new account for her. Same thing. The account shows up in my profile as being created. I wrote everything down checked it and rechecked it I know I am doing it right. Is something wrong with the account creation servers or something? I type in my old account that I have and it logs in just fine. Any new account is not working. Can anyone please help.

Im having the same problem. Finally got past the others I have and it even shows Fates Destiny under my quick connect. But when I enter my log in info it says the exact same thing even though I KNOW im entering the right info.

Same problem here.

I can get to the login screen but entering the Login name and pw gives me a "invalid accout/password" window.

I am fairly sure that my eqhost.txt and eqgame.exe shortcut is setup exactly as mentioned in the various play guides here.

P.s. I've had no problem connecting to EQlive, so maybe something going on with EQEmu accounts?

*Fiddled with it some more; tried the scorpion2k patch. It looks like it's just the login server rejecting me account/pass. I've tried to change my password for login account, but the server is still rejecting it. Could some admin possibly look into this?

are you sure you are making a login account as well? Your forum account isnt what your supposed to put in, its the login accnt and pass.

99% positive and the other guy said he is 200%. Actually im 200% as well because I created a SECOND acount just to test it and neither of mine work! And know its that acount because when I go to EQ log in and click on acount it brings you to that page.

Yes, I've checked my login account and password several times just to make sure.

While trying the Scorpion2k Patch, something funny happened...
I can't connect with the host file provided in the patch, HOWEVER, I can connect to :5994 (btw, my login account/pass worked for this)but gives me 0 out of 7 x-pack and emtpy server list. After trying to re-login, I get 4/7 x-pack but still empty server list...

Currently very confused, will try to look around for the empty server list problem...

Yep same thing here. I can swith my eqhost and it will let me in on 994 but no servers show up. If I switch it to another my screen just goes black then back to windows.

Hmm, well, I am beat; I'll get a friend to try this, see what happens...

im with them on the servers denying our requests, ive created 3 accnts, and none of them work once i try the login. invalid username psswrd... i also tried the scorpious2k server patch, no progress their ither. im looking for somone for help! plshelp!

i did what you guys did, i also got the same reaction you did..... most peculiar. no servers up, and it says i own 0 of the 7 expansions. when i own all. i wounder what its about!

the info we were given is out of date? it seems the scorpious files give us something.. what is/are the differences between thoes 14 files.... why cant we log in when not using the scorpious files , but can log in when we use them, but we have no server choices.!?

Man STILL cant get EQEmu running and now others cant making it less likly I do, spilt water on my optical mouse breaking it and it looks like Bush is gonna win.....man not a good night not a good night at all.........

hmm , it sorta sounds like its a EMUserver problem.... not shure whats going on though. just a htough

I too am experiencing the "bad username/pass" problem as I created a second login. It shows up as a second login in my eqemu profile, and I created a new login on the WR site. No luck

I am getting the same problem. I am new to this (started today) and am trying to get into a friend's server. I am getting the same invalid username/password message and I have rechecked everything over 10 times (I am nothing if not thorough :) ). I have tried to create 3 different accounts on my forum account with no success.

(BTW, I know I am posting what everyone else has, but I wanted to also subscribe to the topic :) )

Also...I tried to make a new account via the emulator and it says I am not using either the same email or account code as my forum account...although I know for a fact I am. I hope this little tidbit helps.

Just registered yesterday/today and its doing the same thing to me.

I can log in on my GF's account just fine.

Not too sure on an answer.. advice tho' when putting up your eqhost.txt or other files like that put it in it is easier to see spaces and such. Hope you find an answer soon :) .

Im wondering if maybe this isnt something wrong with the sign up processe and not the EQemu servers. After all it would be odd for a server to have a problem like this with some not all, no?

Your eqhost should say

Host=login1.eqemulator.net:5995

On port 5994 server says "invalid username/password", on port 5995 the game just hangs up during the login.

try 5996. Some people have gotten it to work that way.

I really dislike guessing and probing different ports on the server.

Port 5996 is not active and refuses any connection :evil:

That's for the scorpion2k server; some of us are just trying to connect to the normal one: Host=newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5994.

Not to mention that's the only one where I can reach a server screen (although it's empty) when using scorpion2k patch. Without patching, it's invalid account/password on every server.

Iv tried the one to connect to scorps server it still doesnt work. And iv tried 5996. Iv tried all of these multiple times.

i wounder what is wrong and how we should fix it. it makes no sense. everyonetells us to do one thing but that one thing has no effect. what we need is somone to clear everything up

Thats not true. We are getting alot of people that know what they are talkig about trying to help us now. Hell iv had admins at 2 different server sites try and help(including in this topic)and the server hosts themself have.

Problem isnt the people giving us help. They are trying and they know what they are talking about. Problem seems to be that the typical solutions arnt working this time around.....that this is some new problem be it serverside, patch or whatever.

maby the IP authirisation is still needed. we can still connect to the port, but maby the port requires some sortof access key thing, it also seems to be a little bit of a patching issue

We could try using an older account with the current version of the
game. If it works, it is a problem with the server or we all forgot
something very importent. If it doesn't, the current version of the
game is most likely incompatible with the server.

I had no chance using an older version of the game, since I
installed it yesterday for the first time. And of course I have no
older account, so somebody else should try to figure out what's
wrong.

The person that created this topic said he and all his friends but one had no problem getting things running. That one friend that had the problem he went over to help and couldnt get it running. So its not a mistake.

Best thing to do is sit and give it a week or 2 and hope they look into and fix the problem. Iv already broken out Diablo 2 and Katamari Damacy to blow some time.

EQEmu is currently setup so you can play if you have EQ patched fully. that shouldnt be the problem unless they came out with a new patch in the past couple days.

It was actually a replication problem. We are going to be switching servers soon, so we are replicating the database. It stopped replicating a couple days ago. If your account isnt working now, post to this thread and tell me the name.

They might have since they have been working on changing the back flag system and eqcastersrealm has an update about it.
