Heres a poll to find out everyones favorite server past or present ^_^

Well you see, a long time ago I lost my Dark Elf Necromancer on Winter's Roar.

I think Sha's Revenge was the -best- server ever, hands down.

I never played Sha's Revenge. But Empire was without a doubt the most entertaining server, atleast when Mag had it up. Not a lot of people seemed to play it, most I think went for SoD/WR because they wanted a stable live like version of EQ. But I loved Empire, was great a PvP server.

no meng, The Grand Creation is teh rox. nothing like having (most of) the live experience carbon copied then having most of the fun parts to yourself and a few friends. All is needed is for PoK and Bazaar to be implemented(and a version of EQ compatible with PEQ installed on my HD) and I'd be in hog heaven.

Now if the internet would just cough up a way to get compatible with 6.2/6.3....

WR/SoD hands down! Not putting PEQ down for all the great work they have done but why would you want a carbon copy of eq? Just play eq if you still like it, I play on emulated servers for custom content, not to play a free version of a game that is no longer fun.

I have 80 custom quests made and still counting.

Well not much experience with other EQemus, but about PvE Shards of Dalaya is without a doubt the best and constantly evolving, and player base is getting huge. Never managed to get into PEQ sadly, looks quite private server to me...

SoD wins irl.

SoD a.k.a "Winter's Roar" is awesome, all the custom quests and content make it the best emulator server out there. I highly recommend you play if your a fan of EverQuest.

Yeah if you want to play EQ the way it should have been played, play on Shards of Dalaya. No more *kill gnoll pup and get 70/20 1hslash weapons* (extreme exageration... or is it?)

The custom content put out on this server is far superior and almost everything to do with SoD has a backstory to it which makes it interesting. The world is CONSTANTLY evolving and changing right before your eyes. Quests are added weekly (if not daily).

Skorpious2k server was alright for the time being, but it wasn't that great when you had any lvl 130s with admin commands. It was too easy for my taste, especially being able to get your epic before actually even playing the game normally.

the reason is the Squeaker (formerly Scorpious2k) Server takes over where PoTime ended, this is what Post- PoP would be. The level 130's can only use a few commands such as: #zone, #race, #size, #wc, and #gender. Those dont look like admin commands to me.

I find that polls and opinions for the 'best eqemu server' are quite useless, you're comparing apples and oranges.

I like apples. Oranges give me heartburn :)

Guildwars is the best EMU server ever and allwayz will be. U want to do bluebie quests (SoD) go play on Live. IMHO EMU was meant for Guildwars so we can get our old school pvp mojo on.

Since there's apparently a lot of demand for an EQ PvP server, we've been thinking of combining the best of both worlds and make an SoD-based PvP server with balanced PvP. It would run seperately from the "bluebie" SoD server, but would otherwise be more or less identical with the addition of nice, balanced PvP.

who owned that server? i remember seeing it locked back awhile ago on the 6.1 login server.

At the moment, SoD and GW are tied with 62 votes.

However, I'd have to say SoD won, because looking at Guildwars votes I see two votes coming from an obvious multi-accounter.

But the polls aren't closed yet...

I would have to disagree with that statement about SoD winning. I honestly think GW is a better server, but then again that is only my opinion. Others may or may not feel differently. I played GW ever since it was first created. I also have played SoD back when it was created. I liked GW gameplay better. This is just my 2 cents though. If you must begin the flames.
