Zebuxoruk [Custom/Legit] Server 7.0
 

Just wanted to get this out on the forums. Our server Zebuxoruk has been up and stable for about 2 months. I invite everyone in the EQEmu community to come try it out.

Here are some of the features/characteristics of Zebuxoruk:
-Central Nexus location with everything you need (Keeps the community together)
-Fast XP
-Modified Zones with enhanced loot/spawn tables for levels 1-65
-We understand the playerbase is never going to be 1000+, all classes are perfectly capable of soloing to 65.
-New raid encounters, loot, and quests.
-Focused around having fun and building a community, not hardcore raiding or PvP (I do hold PvP events in the arena on occasion, and whoever wants to duel it up feel free)
-Based in Oldworld/Kunark/Velious. Although some of my quests and events send you to Luclin/PoP and others.

There is alot more ofcourse, I've had players on my server tell me, "Your server is way better than EQLive, I know I'm playing EQLive on my other computer." and "This is by far the best custom server in a long time". Give us a shot, we are starting to get alot of new players thanks to 7.0. Send me a tell online! :D

no website sorry, havent set up a webserver. That reminds me, our server is dedicated so it's always up

I played it and it has potential to be a lot of fun but I had a bug. I did the very first adventure it sends you on for lvls 1-5 and when I looted the boss it said "duplicate lore item deleted" even though I never looted ANYTHING on that server before. Other than that it was pretty cool!

That bug was fixed yesterday, so come back :)

This is a pretty good server, except for the time being I can't seem to zone anywhere. *L*

Got slammed by a bunch of PEQ peoples, and then went out of town for the weekend. Would have had other GM reboot it but he was out somewhere else too. Sorry about it's all rebooted now. (was going on 2 weeks without reboot my zone server was freakin')

Played very seriously on PEQ before I tried this one out while PEQ was down. Gotta say the server has been alot of fun thus far. Good custome content, relaxed atmosphere while still being a good time. Great job to the person who put this idea together. Well worth a look.

I have been playing this server for about 4 days now. A load of fun and I would highly suggest anyone to give it a shot.

i have been playing on this server for 2 days now, and its very fun. but soloing is the only thing i find a little hard to do. sometimes, you can get lucky and solo. but then it seems like you just cant hit them, and you cant solo. but other than that i really enjoy this server. hopefully ill get lvl65 soon!

Any idea if it's going to be online again? Or is it a thing of the past? :)

The server was having problems with zones last night, no matter what zone you tried to log into, it would just say zone unavailable, so I went to bed. When I woke up the server was down. I don't think Jibb would just take the server away without notice, my guess is that it is just having some problems that he has to fix. :)

It's back up. Was last night.

After I made it past a zillion eqgame.exe crashes, I was able to login and play. I even died and didn't disconnect. Getting better and better.

I was able to log in, logged in while my character was in CB ... promptly died and while I was zoning back to the nexus, it said the server is not responding. Every time I try to log in now, I get 'server is not responding'.

There are 20 or so people still playing on the server, so the whole server can't be down.

Does this just mean that the Nexus is down or ... do I have some other problem?

yea, nexus is down, wish it would get fixxed, 2nd day in a row that i havnt been able to play my pally cause a zone crash :?

The server list user count can't be counted on as being accurate at all.

Nexus again is currently down.

It's up now. Man this is such a fun server even with the issues. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it.

Also my favorite server! Wish they would fix a few problems though ... like Monks crashing zones 60+ and backstab for rogues would be nice!

I'm having issues with the latest updates of 7.0, after a random amount of time it just stops letting people in, I'm going to post a thread about it to see if anyone else has had this problem or knows how to fix it. Sorry :)

Hey Jibb - any chance on rogue backstab implementation soon? That would be great! I'm sure a lot of us on the server would help out if you wanted... with updates / fixes or what not.
