every time i see the serve list...there is an error...

Image doesnt work. Are you using a clean install fo titanium? Obvious first question, I know.

I can log in some days ago.........but now ,every i see the serve list .there is a error..say"the programme will be closed".......................i has install the game again ,but the problem is still exisist..................

are you running a lan server or are you trying to connect the public login server?

i am getting the same problem i was on earlier today and now when ig et to server select it either tells me everquest has had a problem and must be shutdown or i get to click play everquest and it crashed my comp

Make sure nothing "accidentally" patched by running the wrong exe, and I get this once in a blue moon myself. I usually just have to try again and it works fine. The only time I got really stuck was when I synched a version of the Emu client from a desktop with 1600x1200 screen res, and my monitor was only 1280x1024.

Nuked the eqclient.ini file (and let it build a new one) and everything was fine.

I use to get it once in a blue moon too but now I am getting everytime I try and get through the login server. I get to the server select screen and everytime it says EverQuest has encountered an error and needs to be shut down. Very annoying problem and we need some answers.

However, on my 3rd attempt (I am insane, so I keep trying) I got into Legacy of the Rathe just fine. I have so much crap loaded on this dev box tho, I couldn't say if this error is mine, or EMu's.

The error I am getting at server select:

Eqgame.exe has encountered an error and needs to close. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It is an EQ generated error.

If you log in again shortly after you've just connected (logging in another account or logging out and logging back in), when you get to the server select you crash. It just started happening today.

Budaworm hit the nail on the head thats exactly whats happening to me any ideas anyone? ive been told that patching to live then running the KMRA patch may sort this out but patching to live will take me hours any other ideas?

btw i tries screen resolution / deleting the .ini and nothing worked

I have tried running Everquest off of my computer that is hardlined to to the router and it connected to a server whilst my wirelessly connected computer is the one that has the problems! maybe this is a problem for all us wireless users out there?


any ideas?

This error just started to happen to me today. I did use Alt + F4 to close it from windowed mode if that helps any. Worked fined this morning and now down today oh well.

Just thought that might help some if any.

i know this has been tackles on another thread but does anyone have any ideas of how soon it will be until there is a fix? is it being worked on any kind of packet collecting we can do to help?
