Raid Addicts Public Edition
Hello Eqemu Community,
I have decided that since I have run the server now for just over 10 years and that my career in my home towns community has gone far I am going to make my server "Raid Addicts" completely public available for download from my website this package will include the following:
NOTE : THIS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD UNTIL MY STAFF IS SATISFIED IT IS BUG FREE (ROUGHLY 6 MONTHS RESEARCH) I have began to enlist several local talents in an effort to clean the server up to get it ready for distribution this process will take roughly 6 months. I would very much appreciate assistance from any other talent in the community to get the project distributable. I am currently working on Tier 5 content to get that wrapped up and needing master eqemu craftsmen to assist with cleanup of previous content. PS: I am in no way giving up on Raid Addicts, (Sorry Rogean) .. I am merely deciding to improve my project and the only way I can do that is to allow this community to assist me , I apologize for being so abrasive in the past. It's going to be released Sooner rather than Later. I'm thinking within the next few weeks , I am trying to get a new site up and running and an SVN , but may just end up being a zip file if I can't figure it out. Perhaps some of the folks from PEQ could assist in this process but I wouldn't know who to ask these days :)

Alright folks, I have started remaking my website (again) people preferred the old Drupal system opposed to the TIKIWIKI, I must admit so did I the thing was way to overly complex.
I am happy to release my website which now contains the download link for the Raid Addicts database, quests , and binary modifications. Once I have got an SVN setup this process will improve of course with the changes on the server the files will update. I wanted to thank the community for being supportive, and patient with all that I have done and I will continue to improve my server of course this is by no means my way of giving up rather asking the community for forgiveness , and also hopefully a little help getting things fine tuned! Do you know around which revision your database is Mort? Using the current build of the emu with it naturally complains of missing tables. Just looking for a point to start my search of upgrading it. Thank you for making this available to the public!

No Problem, i'm also working on a kind of Server Map, which is based on the Tiers of progression which I will release as part of the Download on the SVN. I can't seem to find my S2k stuff , I know it's in some hard drive some where just have to find the time to get it sorry for the delay as far as that stuff goes.
This is what I have so far, from memory of Tier 1, but going to dive in deeper and probably go zone to zone finding all my old content long forgotten.. This is only a fraction of what is really out there but like I said until I have the time to go zone to zone I'm just making this list from memory :) Tier 1 stuff to be added to wiki: Eruds Crossing (Tasks) Eruds Crossing Missions (Crushbone) Eruds Crossing Quests (Sow Boots) Eruds Crossing Alternatives (Kill the guards for weapons) Vex Thal - Specify up front that the Tasks are important, and the Merchant "Justin" is important for gearing up.. I don't get why more people don't play here. So much work and effort put into this yet so little amount of players. Tons of custom content which is what some people look for, still nobody plays. RaidAddicts2013!

I'll use an Analogy, and hopefully it doesn't offend anyone in the process.
It's like feeding birds in the park , you know you throw out the seed (Content) , and they fly in they hang out with you, soon as you run out of seed (Content) , then those birds (the players) they fly some where else.. I am currently working real hard on Tier 5, but pretty much only have the weekends and evenings to do this since i'm working full time now. But I've already put a sizable dent as far as what I am working to accomplish for this tier. So I hope some folks come back soon , I really am trying at this point to get things finished with Tier 5 , given the tier is so EPIC it seemed very daunting and I had almost gotten a form of writers block but now things are moving smoothly again. What do you mean tedious you buy one portal stone sets the thing so your whole guild can travel there until someone changes it just like live :) seems it would be more tedious saying a phrase for all your alts. Good to see ya hope to see you in game soon :)

Omnipotence "Fighter" falls off way too often. I can just spam the buff, but that gets tedious. Other than that I'm having a blast.

I wish, it was hacked and deleted, as well as the old forums and website. That's why I decided to start making my Giga list of known content, which right now is about twice the size as the one posted above , I'm going to wait till It's finished then post it again however I'll be keeping an up to date copy available to people on the website's front page there just click Read More under the article to see the full list.
The server is going to have to stay down until I can upgrade the binary's , because characters keep getting corrupted also I think there might be some issues with some spells so may have to revert to older spell files. Right now I have gotten as far as adding in my changes to the very latest build and compiled it however for some reason World and Zone didn't compile so I have to figure that out. Anyway any help from the community getting things compiled would be greatly appreciated :) Morty |

Yeah was late last night when I tried and just gave up and went to sleep, I will try again today when I get off work and post what errors i'm getting .. Thanks good point :)
