As of today Website is a lot more complete on the pages Abacrone.com The Server will be open to public on Thursday, Sept 29
There is also server forums setup at Abacrone.net I would encourage all support issues/questions to go there.

I'm bored all the other servers are boring....unlock it now so I have something to do! Looks quite fun been waiting on a new detailed custom server for awhile. Will ch3vh it out when it's open :(

Ya, sorry, I have a bunch of important edits to do this week, involving lower levels.
Focused too much priority on the higher end and not enough to balance the work
all over (chuckle)
I wouldn't call other servers boring myself. Even Scorp has flying rabbits, which I thought
was damn kewl :)

Would play but I despise bots.

Ya, I hummed and haw'd over that, whether to implement them but in the end,
I don't think players will be too successful at LFG'ing leaving them without any
opportunity to get at high end. Even someone boxing will have a challenge in
high levels.

Thanks Akka. Not sure how much interest there will be in a server like this, but it's
definately something a little different for players to try out. Took me over 4 months
of editing to get it where it is now and hope to do some good things in the future.

Looks great! Can't wait to try it out.

It will definately be ready to go on Thursday. Something I am bad for, when creating a
"to do list", is being disorganized, jotting things down on 100 different pieces of paper. (chuckle)
So my desk looks like a high school locker right now :)

I don't suppose anyone knows how relatively accurate the stats are with a website from the infamous GoDaddy,
where my server web pages are hosted ?? According to this, a majority has been in the last 6 days, which I
don't find realistic. If anyone has dealt with them before ?

Seems legit. There are allot of people in this community and the vast majority never post anything on the forums, they just lurk around and visit whats new. Some of that traffic is probably bots as well.

Oh ya, I always expect some bots. I have no idea what the "hundejo" is. The views that
were referenced from links on this site, tons of "guests" may have been clicking.
The forumatic is from my server forum site. But as for any non-relevant traffic, I would
not expect anyone to be "searching" the name, since I put lot of effort in to coming up
with a name and spelling that didn't exist (on the internet anyway). Closest was spelled
abakrone (chuckle)

Serve will be up at midnight tonight (CST) (7 hours from now)

But please let me remind everyone, support issues for this server, please use
the Abacrone forums (Abacrone.net) And maybe even read the website.

Not sure if you seen Rogean's post about the emu loginserver going down late thursday
night (after midnight, friday AM). You can get toons logged on before it does and leave
them parked (afk) if you need to.

EQEmulator has spawned. Rare spawn, but it popped. (grin)

After two days of getting post-launch bugs dealt with, it's getting better (chuckle)
It's not a perfect world, but I am working on getting things smoothed out.
The biggest glitch was the Freeport issue. It was my fault, but I originally thought
the clients being sent to new version was them missing files (sorry).
Just missed a few lines in start zones, but all good now. Patient people, many of them
I am thankful for :)

this server is tons of fun. Customized with spawns and events, but exp loss and CR is a real thing. corpse summoner in nexus and 15pp regeants take the sting out of it.

15pp isn't bad, if anyone remembers the days when you had to find someone to summon
your corpse ? Thats kind of what I wanted to simulate with the inlaid coffin purchase.
The one charge rez clicky is another simulation of "donating" for a rez in /ooc haha

Was seriously trying not to necro my own thread, but just wanted to mention to any
future newcomers, PLEASE visit the website before logging on to the server.
It's no big deal to answer the odd trivial question in game, but I have seen the odd
newcomer asking questions that make it quite apparent they didn't read much at all.
I don't mind being bugged for support issues, but I really don't want to type out all
that web info (again) in game.
Updates/fixes are constantly posted on the server forum, so I would encourage people
to keep an eye on it. I do appreciate it and thank you :)

This server has been a blast so far. It's not overly punishing but is far from easymode. As of right now I have about 240 hours played in the last month. The Dev has been very active at fixing bugs and minor issues as well as implementing additional content. Absolutely a server worth checking out.

You do know that /played reads from the date of character creation right?

That would mean that you were playing at least 8 hours a day. EVERY DAY. Is that right? ;)

Server launched night of Sept 28th so it hasn't been quite 2 weeks yet.
In the db, for his main toon, it shows 'time_played' of 15203 ?
I assume that is seconds ? But not sure if he is including total time of
3 boxes in that 240. I do know, he does play a lot, night after night.

No shame here. When I play, I play quite a bit. Some days it's more like 16 hours~

You should probably put the keyboard down, shed some pounds, and get a job....16 hours a day is a bit much.

I have no room to talk. I spend hours on the puter and the majority of my
exercise is going from the desk to the kitchen.
But so far, I can still look down and see my zipper :P

Well, over 2 weeks later finally got most of the bugs smoothed out and hopefully have
the new custom content done by end of november. Keyboard buttons are getting sticky.

Work may go faster if you weren't doing -that- at the computer.....

Halloween event week coming up starting on Friday, with an event mission to run until
31st. Added a coffin spawn in nexus and extra loot, as well as an Halloween Pet doll to
the merchant. Having fun with this project :)

Ghosts, goblins, vampires and scarecrows. Now that's what I call Halloween on the Abacrone :)
