In regard to Akkadius wanting to know how many people actually wanting Funhouse to come back. Here we have a poll, I shouldn't have to explain the options.

I wasn't around for this server back when it was active, but I voted yes
anyways, because I would love to check it out.

I don't post much, but will always post to bring funhouse back. Most fun server I ever played on, so much content.

I don't think normal members can. I'm not seeing the option when I go to create a new thread nor when I try to edit this one. It should be under additional options yeah?

I don't know how many people play EQEmu, but as of Nov. 21st at 6:18pm PST there are a total of 39 votes cast, 34 say "yes" and 5 say they've never played it.

That's not 'how many people play eqemu'.

That's 'how many are playing on each server right now'.

Oh definately, not all players are ever logged on at once, but it's something to get an average of concurrent players
along with peak times/days, etc. Some players have made it obvious they may not even know that page exists,
depending on the browser view they have for the main forum page.

Just put the got Damn server up!! It was fun we don't need not damn poll for it kidnap Akka and force him or he will have to wear a gag ball made of Popeyes biscuits.

So far, this "Funhouse" has been fun all over these forums, but I would love to check it out too. Does it really exist ? :P

It exists, Akka's Funhouse was insane. I only played a little bit of it but i was addicted to it right before it shut down. This is one of those servers where the only thing it had in common with the EverQuest game itself was the graphics. Akka did such a good job of conjuring a world that was completely new for everyone playing. He also came out with expansions to the server, added new mobs, items, ways to use money for character progression.

Ya, I was joking with that question, lol. But yes, I would love to check it out. I do agree with Maze (for any server),
start out fresh with a character/player wipe. It's a lot more fun on a server when everyone starts out together.

As of Nov. 28th, 2017 there are 130 votes. thats roughly about 118 yes votes, the rest are going to no/never played. Imagine that server with that many players lol

I was working on AFIII secretly for a while, it goes off of the original rendition of AF, uses the core concepts that were implemented before, but takes it to a whole other level.

Mod Types

- Everything is stat driven like the original, that includes seeing an exact influence summary when items are equipped/unequipped +/-

Fast Paced

- Most spells were turned to instant cast, normalized recast times
- All classes had the ability to "lunge" into a target and do damage, this was scaled based on statistic modifiers as well

Stat Aug System

- This was another Diablo influenced system, you have ranks of each:

Items

- It had a lot of characteristics of the old AF - (4-5 ranks of the same items in the game) so we end up having 4 million unique items in loot tables. You could combine 4 items of the same time to make a "Legendary" version of them all.
- Diablo loot system just like before

I have pages of concept docs for AFIII that I know would make a very fun and fast paced solo server, but unfortunately I have a lot of things on my plate. But if people express enough interest I may pick it back up in the near future

Watching those 2 videos gave me the same feeling I get from watching the Pantheon streams..

Id be happy for the original to be released. Id pay for any strippers Akka wants if he released the reworked one he showed earlier in this thread.

Pantheon makes me hard.
