they're makin me download LDoN
 

I just got a few expansions from a mate, installed them on top of my EQ live that went perfectly, even on EQemu ( though it didnt last long without SoL). I installed SoL, SoV, and RoK :shock: .
I expected to update them, but when I clicked on normal EQ to run it, it updated ( a little bit ) then carried on to download LDoN! I'm on a 56k ffs! It said it'll take 40 hrs to download :shock: :shock: :lol: . This is insanity, I have downloaded bigger files, but I realy dont care if I have LDoN or not, is there a way to stop it updating LDoN without reinstalling EQ all-together? I want to update the rest of EQ so I can play EQemu.

oh... P.S. Thank god for EQemu, theres no way im gonna pay $20 a month on EQ ( yes that's how much it will cost HERE, not in America) and I need my fix.

Go into the advance options and uncheck LDoN

wow, thats scary, i just checked it.....LDoN is unchecked :shock:

I checked it and unchecked it, it still tires to update it

There are a bunch of new files you have to download even if you don't want LDoN.

But does it have to be in the LDoN update box? And must it take 40 hrs?

even with that LDoN box unchecked, EQ requires some LDoN files for everyone, there was some changes made and some things added with LDoN that effect everyone, so yea you need it them. :D
