maybe i'm dumb , but anyone knows where i can find source of packet collector please ?

i would like to use it , to upload in My Mysql DB , all the items i have and see while playing EQ , automaticaly , without using a dumpfile like .eqitem

dont think you can do that.. packetcollector uploads to a site that the devs retrieve and put into the default DB. (Probably because if everyone was like you, we would have no itemDB)

i don't want to hack what all EQEMU staff have done , i just would like to build a system for my own guild , so that only my guildmates uses this proggie and upload there items in My DB , so i can make a better and powerful roster :)

seems like all my effort to make great things and share it after would not even pay :(

i know it is not simple , i want to put in my BD all the informations about my guildmates items and icons that must come with each items

i'm on the way to build a Postnuke module , when i have finished it and share it with all OSS community :)

First off, why not just use the packet collecter as is, then get the whole database (not just what you collect) with the emu every week or 2

Second, I think the packet collecter has the ability to upload to any mysql, as a command line option. Check the message boards, command line help and docs, forget where I saw that.

But again, I urge you to just use it as intended and build the public database of items.
