Recipe Editor - version 1.0 - 12/30/2003

I just finished to write a new 3rd party tool named RecipeEditor. As its name indicates, it's dedicated to tradeskills. That tool is pretty easy to use. Use the search facilities to find the recipes (by id/name/skill), right clicking them will open an editor, modify what you have to modify, and press Update once done.
you can also add / remove recipes.

I added 10 configurable buttons that can fasten the design process, you can assign them items from your DB. Pressing one of them will set that item as a component of the recipe.

Don't hesitate to post bugs/requests, i ll be happy to answer and correct everything needed!

You should tie this together under one common GUI rather than seperate programs..

Awesome job though, glad to see someone picking up the mantle of 3rd party app developer ;-)

Most people ive noticied come along, bitch about people doing things in VB, then fail to do anything themselves...lol...

Ya, that's what will happen once the programs will be stable and fully operationnal. They yet all share the same libraries, it won't be to much of a trouble to put them together. The fact that i only have a 56kbits modem makes me prefering small apps to big ones :)

Question :

In the table items, there's a field named 'tradeskills'.
from what i found as explannation in the forum, it has for goal to allow or not the item to be used as a tradeskill component.

Even if i don't see the real interest of that field, i d like to know if i have to care about it in the search items tool features in the recipe editor, ie, do i add a filter to avoid returning not tradeskill usable items during researches ?

Good Job!! Keep up the good work.

Would be cool if this was for regular EQ, lol, I would make a profit by making leather padding output a stack instead of one, lol.

I've downloaded pretty much all of your editors, and I must say I am impressed. Do keep up the good work!
