Emu5.3Dr2 it opens with winRAR.Zip I read the How to play and it tells nothing about extracting files and i allready did the copy and paste thing a long time ago is this Downlode the same as the Codes in the how to play Forum and if not ware do i put these files/Folders i ziped them into my eq directory but not shure if thats the right place for them .. thanks Sir Nineharts

You do not need any files to play on someone else's server.

Just edit you eqhost.txt and change the login server and registration server to eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5997 (for 5.3-DR2 servers)

Precise and Step by Step Intructions

Although If you patched either after 12/23 or before 12/18 you will have to wait for a new version of EQEMu to come out.

Search for the EQhost.txt

Select all that bullshit, delete it.

Paste:

}


Save it.

And run eqgame.exe

I patched last night to test the DR2 we are going to bring up and it works fine....

Hmmm I tried again after seeing this and it works now.... :P Before I would try on different 5.3DR2 servers a grand total of 40 times and if I was able to get on, it was shortlived.
