Everquest in Warcraft 3
 

I took an extended vacation recently and with the lack of internet, decided to create a Warcraft 3 map based on Everquest. Now I am back and I need people to help me finish up the map. If you have Warcraft 3 + TFT expansion, I need you!

The map is based on Enfo's, which is insanely addicting. For those who have not played this style of map, the game play is not like standard RTS. In this type of map, you choose one hero and play it the entire game. You don't have to build up a city or mine resources.

There are 15 hero types you can choose from, each one matching a class from Everquest. Each hero has the skills you would expect for the EQ class - for example, Warriors have taunt while Wizards and Enchanters can form AE groups. Level 65 is the max level and Bards are likely to be constistently bugged.

What I need now is help working out the bugs and balance issues - I need testers. If you are interested in helping me test the map this weekend, please send me a PM on these forums. I would like to get 8 to 10 people in a game at once and see how it goes.

Great! Hope it goes well. Will you post your successes in this thread? Might have to see if I picked up this RTS. (I have a huge closet full of unopened games that I buy, and never get to. :oops:) Sucks when I find I bought doubles of a title. :roll:

I don't have wc3 sounds good though, let's hope it is better then lords of everquest ;)

HHmmm was concidering buying WC3 with income tax, now I definetly am. This is a sweet idea.

Finaly a good reason to play warcraft online. The project sounds awsome. I love to edit maps and would help but got alot of other things going on and am really lacking anytime at all.....

i have WC3+TFT =) sounds cool but there is another team working on an everquest map

go to warcraft III campaigns(http://wc3campaigns.com/) then go to their forums and look around at their hosted projects on of them is an eq project

The project you see there is an RPG campaign map. It's completely different than the map I am creating.

Besides, my map is based on Enfo's, yet there's already an Enfo's!
