Need info on server stuff
 
I have gave in. I can not find a server that suits my liking. But My parents run a web hosting biz not very popular. But anyway i would like to run a Server but they want all the info on it like.
1: How much bandwith is aprox used per zoneserver
2: How much space will be needed
3: How meny zone servers are recommended
4: How much Bandwith is used total
5: What progs will be needed in all
6: Are they stable


If you could give me all the spics up there and any i have forgoten thanks by the way if i can run it it will probly be run a a T3 Maybe higher :D

i can answer a few of those. they are stable. if you plan on making your server big then i recomend like 25-30 boot zones up and limit your amount of people on at one time to like 27 or 28. i used to run my own server until i got tired of placing mobs in all the zones.

How to you have planed for yor server? Well I meen is it going to be a legit server or custum? And antthing les you might wish to sare.

guildwars 2 runs a crapload of zones ( ~ 100 or so ) and has ~100 ppl on it any given time.

It was said that they're using half of a 1mbit up/down pipe.

so a client takes approximately 5kb/s each.
