Incorrect Version
 

I am trying to run the Minilogin, but when I go to log in using user: eqemu and pass: eqemu it says I have incorrect version and to patch EQ. I did that, and readjusted eqhost, but still comes up, any thoughts?


BTW not sure what the hell is up with my username, that isnt what I typed in.

ok i had this prob too. So, all you have to do is:

1) Run the regular eq, til its done then hit the X.

2) Go to your EQhost file and put back in the EMU things.

3) Run minilogin.

Should work. Worked for me

This is the way I run it,

minilogin.exe

world.exe

boot5Zones.win9x.bat

eqw.exe

Then I try and sign in and same incorrect version message. I tried repatching EQ, all it downloads is new EQHost.txt file. I am using the minilogin file from the release previous to 0.3.0, 0.2.6 I believe, because newest version doesn't have the minilogin.exe file. No errors in the bootup of any of the exe's or the bat file, only the error once I am in game.

get the new minilogin or use the modified login.exe.
the old mini-login doesn't work.

you need the 0.3.0 minilogin.. look in the support forum for lyenus post with it.
