Help making own server
 

Im new at this but have done everything the site side from various topics. i still get an error when loading world (error 2006) and after that i get error saying name/password was rejected(error 2001) now i made sure the db.ini matched exactly no white spaces or whatever i looked everywhere for help with this and tried mysql -u <name> -p and when i enter password it said acess denied <password YES> i know that might not be much info ill try to supply anything else you think might help. I also tried grant permission etc and i got error 1045 any idea how i might get it to work? i downloaded the latest stuff and i didnt just try and then pst i looked through about a million forms. it seems once i get the user/pass to work on mysql everythign else will fall into place any help would be greatly appreciated

Edit~~ well i guess my main problem was i was trying to do this all at 5am heh got it to work now got another error but dont look like anything big lol...after all that i forgot to grant under -u root :/ sorry about a waste of board space with this hehe
