bad username/password
 

i just set up Eq Emu and got a account on here and when i tried to log in it said bad username/password...can someone help plz :o

Are you trying to run a server, or just trying to play?

Yeah im getting invalid un/pw error even though im registered on the message board. Is there somekind of batch file that runs every so often to take users from the messageboard and update to the eq authentication server?

also like to note that I have updated all the patches and configured everything according to the sites guide.

its my third account, because nothing works after I want to log in I get ten Error: EQEMu : Bad username/passwort
but please don`t ask... I could play with the chars of my friends everythig works, but every account I created doesn`t run last one with no Char you can try to go into forum or something else

I just logged in with that userid and password, got to server select and to character select on Scorpius2K, so I have no idea what your problem is.

Might want to change that password now.

He might not be dumb...
 

This might actually be a bug, and not something to just blow off as "He just doesnt know what he is doing." I have noticed that it will say Bad name / password several times, but if I keep cramming enter, it will eventually let me in, though I did nothing to change the password or username already entered. This has happened since I started playing on guild wars... sometimes it lets me in, sometimes it doesnt. Yes the eqhost is right, yes I am using my eqemulater account, yes yes, I am doing everything thing right. But this morning as I try to log on, and fail repeatidly, I decide to troll the boards and see if I can find a reason, and loe and behold, I find this thread..... Are any other past users now having trouble getting into the login server?
