help needed for diconnection
 

i log on fine. but when i join a server my dsl just turns off..... somtimes i actually can go to the character screen but then it turns off again......... everything else is fine.. surfing... other games

Please post more information than, " My DSL shuts off". Like, are you just trying to play or do you run a server? Have you tried a different server? What is the contents of your eqhost.txt file.

when i try to connect to any server..... or even on server screen...... my internet just disconnects i cant play anymore

If in fact your internet disconnects then it is NOT an EqEmu issue, but you need to contact your ISP and see what is going on with that...

the eqhost same as on merths guide .. and its when i join servers.... and it works on my other computer but not on this one and both use same isp

then you have something configured wrong.. do you have a firewall that is preventing your using it? do you have your datarate set to 8?
