Newb Confused trying to D/L eqemu
 

Ive looked round hte site everwhere i can think if but I can not find a location to download eqemu.

Also just installed EQ Trilogy and PoP. Ive been away from eq for a couple years now. I'm just looking to wander around Norath again and take in some old sights.

Following the steps in "HOWTO: Play On EQEMu" I do not have the file listed in step 3 on my computer anywhere. Ive reinstalled the Trilogy and PoP Expansion, both, 3 times now still do not have "DataRate.txt"

Any assistance, even if its just pointing out a link for me to go to.. or a faq that included download instruction..

I don't think the datarate is relavant. Try to get on eqemu and just ignore that step.

But I cant figure out How to download the EQemu files.

Or do I just log in using my forum login?

Harr Harr. I'm an idiot.. should have read all the way through the setup info, not just stopping when i can not do a step.

Works fine. I can get to the server select screen.

Many thanks for the hard work in there being this option for players.

There are no EQEmu files...thats only for running a server...if you want to play all you have to do if follow the HOWTO: Play on EQEmu guide and then logon with your forum name and password.

I guess that I spoke too soon 1017 error. Searching the forums now for info on that.

Have you patched since GoD went live?

If so you can only play on 0.5.5 DR1 servers

Yup id patched. and the 3 games i had tried to join were not v5.5 thanks for the help. and for this option being around.
