Error 1017?? help me please
 

Everytime I try and log onto my acount I choose a server and press enter, and then everytime I get Error 1017 you may need to re run the patch program? It has been like this for about three week's now. dose anybody know what my problem is? thank you

What version of server are you trying to connect to? 5.3, 5.5 ? When was the last time you patched? I'm sure you've heard all of this before, but you didn't give any info.... Also, check out the error guide link in my sig. Might help

You must be running an ancient version of an eqemu server and trying to log in with a newly patched eq game. The only way you wont get this error is if you run a 5.5DR1 server and patch to the newest date...

This error can also be caused by other things... But, as Itlruss pointed out there isnt enough info given to make that assesment....
