1017 wtf
 

I can't get on EQEMU due to the 1017 message i have no clue why. I've looked at previous posts and gotten no information from them. Its not my password and my acct is brand new and active. It just wont let me in!

Have you tryed going to your e-mail and re-activating your account?
Also what is Error Message : 1017 say?

1017 = Argh.

Read the 1000's of posts covering it again, if you missed the information you obviously didn't read them.

Also, see the sticky saying one stop error guide and scroll down to 1017...

Read and Search before posting, especially with a title "1017 wtf" and just asking us to spoon feed a fix for you without you providing any information.

Also, note that just because you activated your acocunt doesnt mean it is actually active... Sometimes it can take up to a week to get your account activated...

Doh, it was instant for me

Yeah, for some it IS intant, however, if you look at how many registered users we have here (9089, and there were a TON more before they purged the boards), and rising, it may take longer sometimes....
