How Can I Make Custom Items In 5.5?
 

I Made My Own Minilogin Server... It Works GREAT!... Just can't figure out the Item Editor... every time i open it and try to open the database it says "Error: Unable To Connect To Database".. im guessing i typed in the wrong info for it when it started up.Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated! I really have no idea what to type at startup

type your db name, whatever it is,
for db location enter localhost

...also The EQemu admin tool is great for editing items and other stuff...id suggest downloading that too.

To use ItemEditor, present in 0.5.5 Release, just edit the file called "setting.ini" in the Item Editor folder.

So would it look like this?

DatabaseName = eq
DatabaseUser = VooodooKiller28
DatabasePass = mySQL pass
DatabaseHost = localhost
EQDirectory = C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest
AutoSave = false


VooodooKiller28 is MYSQL username

is that how its suppose to be??

btw. I can't add items if I only enter the start number (create item)

Should the directory be in the file with item editor or the file with the MySQL?

Yeah its like that on the Middle Earth server, you need to use MySQL front or some other program to add the items, then use mangoo's to edit them.
