EQ live introduces the graveyard Any probs with eqemu
Hey Eq live has just added the graveyard today im yet to patch it (still play EQ live) but have just set up my server and all
anyone know if were ok too patch or not? |
If you want in that zone, you'll need to add it to your zone database. From a MySQL command prompt, give the command:
Quote:
Of course, unless you put spawns in there yourself there won't be any npcs there. And Emu doesn't have built-in support for keeping up with decayed corpses and putting them in the zone, and I reckon it won't for quite some time, as I have yet to play on an emu server where players actually leave a corpse. |
its possible to leave corpses behind owners jsut need to turn the player leaves corpeses variable on, and i doubt it would be to hard for emu to do something like that like say after the days its up the server moves the corpse to the zone and makes it permenant.

But yea just think tho it would have to be another satic zone and a waste of DB space and could be harder on the server to support that maybe i am wrong but.... yea i gusse someone should try it
huh i just wwanted to know if its safe to patch or will it break emu
it will break.
The new patch didn't break Emu for me. It looks like they just added the new graveyard files.
That is all it did it did not brake i was playing earlyer :P
Unless the patch re-downloads EQGame.exe or EQMain.dll then a patch won't break EQEMu.
EQEmu need to make a patcher so we dont keep f*cking up.
The reason "No Warez/No sending or asking for EQ client files" in the rules is so this project doesn't get the attention of Sony's lawyers. Them putting a patcher would be serving those very files and would definitely get the attention of Sony sooner or later.
