EqEMU problem
 

This might be just a problem with my computer but whenver I try and play, a little window comes up and says "No 3D device found". Does anyone know what this might mean?

It means you have no 3D device..... lol

Can you play EQLive?
Do you have DX9?

It doesn't allow me to even sign into EQ, yes there is DX 9.

Disabling hardware acceleration caused this to happen for me. What other games can you run, other than Everquest?

The only other game we have on the computer is Dark Age of Camelot, and it works....most of the time.

Upgrade your graphics card.

Thats what I figured I would have to do....easier said than done though haha.

I have got another problem...When I go in to make a new account on EQ it says that my account key is invalid..but it is the same account key that my forum account gave me.

Are you sure you have the correct eqhost.txt?

If your current cards runs with DAoC it'll run with EQ/Emu. What type of card and what ver drivers?

There have been plenty of people with this problem after the latest graphics engine change. Have you had this work after that patch?

Common reason is your video card cant handle 3d graphics..

You need to download the lastest driver for your video card. 9.0 was a huge leap in graphics design from 8.0 (those that dont believe me never saw the old eq sky :P)

I had a rather new video card, and stll needed updated drivers.
