Guildwars 2. and now guildwars 2.5 were alot of fun.

Devnoob great job image good work pitty some of the time you can be a jerk but he its your server. On the whole the guys do alot to balance the classes and make pvp fun.

I played both the guild wars and EQ for last 5 years. What we have noticed though are the GMs abusing status some acts that made the lead Gm natalie quit her role.

We spend many hrs days and even weeks farming plat to fortify towns and a gm will come wipe it out in minutes. GM alts using gm powers to aid there current guild.

LOg in now GMT time and the server is like 15 population and numbers are falling fast. I just got banned for speed hacking , which normally sets of a cheat locater but this was a jumpd up charge by a gm whos alt has been hound my guild for weeks.

It saddens me they have to try remove compeition this way and my guild agree. I was tipped to win or least come inthe top 3 for the bOTb this weekened but its seems blarg aka Arrusol as eleiminated me his way.


Guildwars was a awsome concept one that I would subscribe to happily but the cream has turned sour and im not the pussy to drink it.
I feel sorry for all those that donated and they get shit in return yeah its afree server but manners cost nothing.

2 GMs reported you as speed hacking, checking active buffs using #showbuffs they found no speed spells on you and therefor you were flagged as that. You were banned according to our rules, unfortunate, but thats how things are.

This is Mystikal from GuildWars. I am a Lead-GM.

We have heavily researched many accusations. The results turn up false. None of the GM's have been abusing their GM status. Their was one instance where we were testing in Plane of Fear, with GM assistance. We tested out Cazic Thule, and found him to be bugged. Some took it as cheating to kill Cazic Thule.

Again, no such thing has happened. Their was once again an instance where devn00b had zoned into a zone, and found ONE guard, which was under the zone. devn00b had killed it. GM's do not have the power to kill things, or despawn things.

Arrusol was not even the one that accused you of speed hacking. You were caught speed hacking, you faced the punishment along with all the other cheaters.

Perhaps if the GM's were treated nicely, we in turn would show the same respect. All the GM's get is nothing but accusations of favouritsm, and being accused of taking advantage of our GM powers.

The people at SOE, if they're reading this, must be laughing their butts off. From boards like Lum and others, they've gotten no end of grief for doing their jobs, and I can't help but wonder if they're not having a large helping of schadenfreude right now. At the very least I can appreciate the irony of seeing EQEmu GM's placed in the same shoes as so many "legit" GMs over the years (and no, I've never been a GM--guide or otherwise).

I don't really know whats going on up in "UbEr-Ville" where all the level 50's hang out on EQGW, but I'm a young lvl 27 cleric on GW and I really enjoy the server and plan on partaking on this awesome free server. Its fun as hell and I can't wait until I can start to contribute to the Guild Wars at level 30+ !

Dude, of course you were banned, I would ban you.

I've seen the numbers on server select, and it's not anywhere near the 15 this guy claims it is. I don't know if I've ever seen fewer than 30 on. And it's usually 40+.

The day the emu devs pull a Sony and make the servers just say "Up", THEN I'll believe GW might be dying :roll:

I'd be pissed off if that happened, >_<
