us vs en? dealing with spells_us and eqstr_us
Both my spell and my string txts have two files, spells_en.txt/spells_us.txt and eqstr_en.txt/eqstr_us.txt
When I edit the spells or strings with Mongrel's Spell editor, only the _us file is actually edited.. the other stays exactly as it was. So... is the _en file just a backup or something? can i just copy the edited _us file over onto the _en file. Will that do something horrible that I don't want to happen? I'm only asking because though they appear to be identical, the _en is actually a handful of Kb smaller than the _us... leading me to believe that it serves some other purpose. But hey, I donno, thats why I'm asking, heh. |
en is no longer used by the EQ client. I'm thinking to designate it as the united states version of the text file, when it was designated as english before.

ahh
i was kinda thinking the same way, en for english and us for united states, but i did not know that the en file was no longer used. thanks for your help!

Shadow-Wolf, have you seen kill bill volume 2 yet? i'm guessing by your distaste for my avatar that that's a 'no' go out and see the movie... then you'll love it, and probably steal it :o j/k... but Pai Mai is really cool... five point palm exploding heart technique... suckaz |
I know man im just kidding, couldn't care for kill bill though i just dont got to the movies as much anymore.
|
