I was wondering if any of the servers could get like the WR server that way AA and everything would be fixed. Becuse it would be good to see some more servers like that, that way everyone could play....possible an good idea...and possible a shitty one... :?

Back on the topic this is not a good idea. For one thing the WR patcher is not exactly following the forum rules since it distributes older versions of the EQ client patches and if all servers did this then Sony could easily bring legal action against us since we would be distributing their property to thousands of people without their consent. Also this would not work for current characters very well because a lot of the charcter info changed between 5.3 and 5.5 because that was when GoD was released. Most servers could not convert 5.3 characters to 5.5 and just erased them all when making the switch and switch backwards would probably be more difficult.

Winter's Roar is running 0.5.3
AA's broke after the EQLive version which used 0.5.3 - that's the only reason WR has AA.

Just be patient you mofos, or get on EQLive and start grinding AAxp and packet log what we need, or you'll never get the fix.
