"patchme" with eq europe
 

Ok the patchme command doesnt works for eq europe.
It forces me to dl new files (eqhost.txt f.e.).
If sum1 knows a solution pls post it!

Unless JustSomeDude released a new version, EQW doesn't work with the latest patch yet. I checked the website Friday I think and it was still at version 2.41 and he was MIA from the forums.

EQW is EQWindows and allows EQ to be run in windowed mode. It was developed prior to the time that Sony changed EQ to allow the game to be run in windowed mode. In my opinion, EQW still does it better. :P It also has a checkbox which you can uncheck to skip the patcher. The EQW website is http://www.eqwindows.com

Doh! Just checked the EQW website and three releases were done this weekend for any of you waiting for an EQW fix... :D

I dont think EQEmu works with eq europe. its a different set of code we cant even packetcollect... i may be wrong though.


Just download the normal version of everquest and patch it.

everything is working fine i can play the only prob is that i have to patch.
so at the next live patch im forced to update thats crappy

Is your shortcut 'eqgame patchme' or 'everquest patchme' ? The former (eqgame patchme) is the correct one.
