BETA: Item Editor 2.0
 

Ok I have some good news and some bads news. First the bad: Right before finishing up on what would be the beta release, the .cpp file with all the functions vanished :( . Fortunately though, the executable is still there so I can still give you all the beta :D . Please post any bugs you all encounter in this topic. I would also like to ask you all to post any info you all have on values you may encounter. Such as Banes, Skills, and the such, basically anything that has a combo box for, thanks :D . Also it may be a good idea to backup your databases while using this beta, you never know.

For some reason its not loading any items, settings are the same as my 1.9.1 which works fine. Even tried using different databases.

Are you using this with the new item format?

Yes, the item table update is sourced in.

I also have the newest item table and it does not detect the items in my database, says 0 items Loaded...

Was just able to duplicate this... if you load for the first time, goto options and put in all your info and click OK. Then restart editor and it should work.

You need LIBMYSQL.dll to run it, so I just put it in c:/mysql/lib/opt and shortcut the editor to desktop, I don't know if that might help anybody.

Tried what ya all said(with the dll and the load items and restart it) it will not work says loaded 0 items. :cry: i do have the new table sourced i even loaded a second db sourced the item table changes still won't load any items. also i figured i'd try the Icon button to see if it was seeing my EQ dir and nothing happens when i click the button.

its late i prolly missed a few punctuations so here you go place em where ya want . . . . . . . . !#$^@$&

Well I'm not sure what to tell you on the items not loading other than maybe you have the wrong database. On the icons....there is no icon dialog or color selector in beta.

I'm having the same problem as above. I have everything updated and have the right DB address and host.

Same problem here, i cant get items to load.
i wiped my items DB, downloaded the Items DB from your website and did an item update (29.05 CVS), and items still dont load.

Items still load with item editor 1.9.1 ...

Here is the problem you're all having....I used the new database that was posted in the news section, which has a table name of "items_new". There is also an update in the cvs for "items". So this beta loads "items_new" instead of "items". There was a bit of confusion on the update, but I'll be putting it back to "items" when I send out beta2.
