Error Report
 

Every time i try to login the server select i get an error report, one of those microsoft error reports, and i have no clue why.

also my eqhost changes, and i dont know how to save it as read only, i have posted this topic accidently in the wrong section, so now im posting it in the corret one,

sorry, but i am not much of a poster, if i could be helped it would be great, maybe i've patched too far?

In your EverQuest directory, right click on the eqhost.txt and choose properties. When the window opens up their should be check boxes near the bottom of the window. Choose the box beside Read-only and click apply/ok.

Also, with the error, try deleting eqgame and repatching.

well, the eqhost problem is gone, but the microsoft error report still pops up when i try to enter server select screen, trying to figure out whats wrong, i followed the guide step by step, so i dunno whats wrong, but any help is much appreciated, i even tried the deleting and repatching but no luck there

figure out problem, removed spaces in eqhost but now i cant login to a server, it kicks me to login screen onces i click play everquest with a server chosen

You can only play on servers that run version 5.7 DR6. NO other version will let you on.

yea, and i was hoping to get on scorp :( is there anyway that i will be able to get on that? i use to play on that server, but then i stopped playing and my emu acct got like banned or something so no ways to play? maybe in the future?

Not right now, but scorp always upgrades to the most up to date patch eventually, once its stable enough and everything.
