ok to start, i tried doing that everquest anthology, but the GM was very mean and gimped my character for no reason. so i patched to live to get rid of all of the everquest anthology stuff. and it worked.

Then being the smart one i got the new login server and stuff, put it in eq host. then it did the xp-mitchel thing...then i fixed that and it changed to a stanly 666, O.o

I finally fixed that and NOW, NOW....i type in my login stuff

I just reinstalled eq today after a long while and had to patch. Is there anyway to revert to an earlier patching time if i just installed and patched today? i'm pretty sure theres not but i really feel like playing eq, its been at least a year ! Any help would be appreciated

Not that this is going to help undo your patch problem, but i am just curious who the mean GM on EQA was, and how he/she "gimped you" for no reason, becuase in the past 3 or so weeks we have been been wanting testers and have been doing anything but gimping them, we have been giving them spells, and equipment out the ass, so i am just curious who was mean to you, and what he/she did.

anyway as for your problem if you don't like eqa then use the CoE patcher, or the WR patcher and play on their servers until the code is updated to the most recent patch, i know that CoE's patcher releases the eqmain.dll and the eqgame.exe and i think it is the june 16th version, so you will be almost fully compatable to play on the DR6 servers with jsut those two files, there might be some other files that are needed, but you should be able to get all the old files via their patcher, just make sure you remove/change any of their custom files back to the origianals if you have them.

always a good idea to back up your files before loading a custom servers files, as suggested by eqemu, and most of the other custom servers.

Also on a final note, the only gimping we would have done was remove item# 11000 from all inventories, and eventually the DB, other than that i am not sure what else was done, please tell us so we can aviod it in the future.
