Patched to June16th patch, now can't log in at all
 

I decided to try playing on a couple of other servers. I had been playing this evening on the Scorp2k server without problems. However I couldn't connect to many of the other servers, got the "You need to patch" message. I had seen where the june16th patch no longer broke the servers so I patched to June 16th. Then I copied my eqhost.txt file to my folder, hit the delete button once to keep it from crashing, saved it, made it read only.

Now it just hangs forever at log in screen.

You need to read some of the other posts first before you patched. 5.7 DR6 is compatible with the Jusne 16th patch, but you got the June 22nd patch which breaks the login again.

figures, I should have just left it alone. Also I noticed in another topic the June 16th patch don't work with scorp2k server. While Id like to try other servers, at this moment scorp2k is the only server you can depend on being up awhile. I allready have leveled charactors up on other servers in the past only to see them taken down, and obviously lose my charactor I worked on.

Anyways I got a local friend who has the old patch that does work with scorp 2k server. What files do I need to get from him to patch myself back to where I had it??

All the dlls and exes are what is needed to play on the server.

I have two folders, One before the June22 patch and one Patched to live. The one before the 22nd's patch can't connect to DR6 servers, only DR4. The live can't connect to the login server at all.

How can I connect to DR6?

You must have lasted patched the one folder before the 16th, files after the 16th and before the 22nd are needed to play on DR6 servers. And there is no nonwarez way to get them, and warez is not allowed here.

Ah I see, there was a patch I forgot to get between the two. Well, That sucks, I guess I'll stick to DR4 then. :)
