Char Creation??
 

Well, umm.. had quite a bit of fun getting things up and in order. Question...Well, I can get to the Char selection screen, I get the char stats and name set, but it won't save the char. Not sure if I have to DL anything or what.. any help would appreciated.. Thank you.. :twisted:

It sounds like you are trying to run your own server. What vesion are you running? What version of the client do you have? What comes up in world.exe when you try and make a character?

and are you playing on the winter's roar server?

Nope, not trying to run my own server. I get to the server select. click, come up to the char creation. I set the char up, and then.. the char isn't there. Umm.. It's not Winters Roar.. I get the ever loving 1017 for that, it's one of the other servers.. the ones where no one else plays on, lol. Don't have to DL anything do I? Thanks for the reply btw :twisted:

If you've patched since the 22nd and you are lucky enough to be able to actually connect to some of the servers you can't create a character or play because the patch is not compatible.

I DID have it patched, but I got in contact with a friend that hadn't gotten the recent patch.. I had him send me all the exe and the dll files, like someone said on one of the forums... Is there something that I have to DL? I DO NOT want to run my own server.... yet..
