Crashes after Server Selection
 

every time i log onto my server, as soon as its done loading but before character selection, the game crashes, anyone know why?

Have you tried a search? there are numerous threads on this issue already.

havent seen any yet about these one. ive tried everything, i re-unzipped my zip file into EQ file, change host txt, EVERYTHING and none will work, someone help me for the love of god.

This error/crash comes up on every server, someone please help me!!

Or does it have something to do with the new patch that just came out July 14th?

As far as I know, if you have patched back on June 22nd you couldnt play eqemu with that version. So I assume that would still hold true if you patched today as well.

If someone finds anything to help me out with this post it, that would be great help, thanx!!

Its hard to help with such little information, part of troubleshooting is collecting information to determine what the problem could be. What live patch version are you using? If you are using June 22nd and above that is why its not working. If you are using a patch previous to that, do you know what date you are patched up to?

nevermind that part, just got into character selection screen, but now it goes from clicking Enter World back to the log in screen in about 5 seconds, something else wrong now?

did you download the EQ live patch today? Thats what I did and same thing is happening to me. I could have sworn I had a backup folder but I guess not. I'm going to see if my friend has a backup folder and go over his house with my computer and copy it to my computer. Hope that helps.
