Having problems with server
 

ok I'm having some problems with my server...I can't even get it to show up on the normal server listings :?

there that is all of them I think....now I have tried changing the 127.0.0.1s to my local ip address and to localhost...still getting the same probs...anyone know how I can fix this?

i have this same problem. Before they told me that i needed a database compatable with the Eqemu version. but ive yet to get anything to work

uh... you guys running it off my compilation?

first off,
that is wrong, very out dated.(unless your running a 5.7dr4 or earlier)

is the correct one.


as far as the items error did you source the itemtableupdate.sql that came with the source you compiled?

ah no I didn't...I'll re-run it after updating it then see what happens as for the loginserver.ini the guide I was following said to put that in..I'll change it tho and see what happens

I edited the loginserver.ini and still same problem...not showing up on server list...thanks for the help tho..I think I'll just play on other ppls servers :?

what itemstable update? i didnt compile the source.

need to go back to the person that compiled the DR (dev release, not a public release) that you got. DR's are not supported, let alone supporting a compile by someone else.. we have no idea what they did or didnt do.

I never got it that item update, but all i did was source the newdumpeditems, and deleted the old Items table, and changed the newitems tables name to items. now everything works perfectley! yipee lol.

all i neeeded to do to fix that was source db.sql and then dumpeditems.sql and it took the items error away. and the login.ini didnt work until i changed it to

it said could no read login.ini before with the host=eqemulator.net:5995 thing. but it works now with that.
