Compiling Login Server Source?
 
Hello,
I am having a hard time compiling the EQEmu login server source, that I found on http://geocities.com/everquestgrl/

Can someone help me with that? Thanks!

nope.

the login server is not open source. the eqemu team has not released it.

what you have there is a very old old old outdated version that leaked out. it won't work unless you can reprogram it.

and no the eqemu team will not give you updated source

Oh ok thanks, I believe only the encryption changed but I am unsure, I dont know what else has changed.. but anyway, thanks. I will possibly rewrite a login server, I dont know, I like using the eqemu one... how does wintersroar get their own login server?

they dont have one.

eqemu has 2 login servers running. one for old version one for newer

Oh, now I understand, thanks! I thought that was a WR login server because I dont see many servers on that other than WR.
