Keyboard lockout in EQW 2.35b on Winters Roar
 

Here's the situation i've run into. I'm attempting to DC two clients on my rather sub-par machine using EQW 2.35 on Winters roar. I have horrendous load times, but it works. I am having a problem with the keyboard freezing up in one of the instances of EQW.... i'm still able to alt-tab around, play on the other character perfectly, but one client will not accept any keyboard commands. It randomly happens in no specific situation, and it always occurs when i'm in game (not in loading screens, or char select screens). Once it's frozen in that instance though, I have to completely shut it down and restart EQW to get it back, can't even type in the password to re-login. Does anyone know of a way to fix this situation? I would run the latest EQW version, but winters roar only works with 2.35.

well try downloading eqplay nice from WR's website, it will let you run 2 EQW much better and smooth, it might cure your keyboard problems.

you would have better luck playing on one of the regular servers..

On WR it seems i had the same problem... but when playing on the REGULAR servers.. i had no problem what so ever playing 2 clients using eqplaynice.. and my machine is really as uptodate.. give it shot. youll probably thank yourself in the long run
