Compiling?
 

Just wondering what happened to Virus's posts in the help center about compiling EQEMu w/ and w/o perl. I thought they were the best of the helpful guides out there and now they vanished. I don't need it anymore, but they were a great help when I first got VC++ 6.

Well this is what happened Virus Got on Irc Lisc i think said Hey Kaio he quit and as a quit message he put User is banned pfft thats not what it looks like lol anyways he desisded becuse he still had his support helper flag that he would delete all his posts like the fgt he is anyways thats what happened

There really needs to be a better screening process for who gets moderation rights so that kind of stuff doesn't happen anymore. That was probably one of the most helpful posts for folks getting started on servers using the perl system.

It's nothing anyone could have anticipated. He was a good supporter and did at the time seem like a good forum moderator - and he was, by the way.

What needs to happen is that the guides need to go on the actual website and not make everything centered around the forum.

I think all attention should be drawn to me

I saved his post as a *.mht file so hehe if you'd like it back and I'm allowed to post it Dev's plz say so I'd gladly do that.
