Well guys, it's been a fun trip. But tonight I decided to leave EQEMu. It hasn't been the same the past month. I've made plenty of friends and enemies, and I will miss a bunch of you.

Ever since the image incident, and all events after that, it has just gotten me down. A lot of good friends left, and the management of this project has changed dramatically. I left IRC first, and tried to leave on good terms. I said my goodbyes, and I got a few from some people. I would just like to point out what Melwin's response was.

I don't see the need for a big drama show. kathgar didn't go "o weep friends, for i am leaving" when he left or anything, and my goodbye thread, when the time comes, will consist of "I'm leaving, see you all later".

Edit: I like you and everything and I think you made an excellent moderator and community member, I just don't think there's any need for big goodbyes. Much less threads like this.

As several people have pointed out, my comment was, indeed, rather inappropriate. I don't deny this. I was just looking out to make witty remarks as usual, and it fell on the wrong person this time around. My prior post was just to explain the reasoning behind what I said. Like I told Doodman, I recognize what I said was wrong, but IRC is an unforgiving medium of communication and I refuse to get hung up about things I can't change one way or another.

Either way, Lisc, consider this an official apology. Hopefully we can part at least on neutral ground. Good luck with whatever you choose to spend your time on the internet from now on.
