eqmain.dll problem
 

I have everything setup and patched to the final version for velious. I removed the eqmain.dll and bmapwad6.s3d file. I installed eqw 2.1 to my eq directory and when i try to run it, it says unable to find eqmain.dll.
If I put it back the game crashes after the video card selection. If I use the lsfix.zip I can cannot to the main emulator login server no problem but I am trying to setup a network one.

Did you replace the eqgame.exe with ours?

I'm not sure where it is up since tux's site went down, but i'll try to get it onto SF soon.

You have to patch to current, extract eqfix.zip then delete bmpwad6.s3d (and eqmain.dll if your connecting directly). if your going to use the loginserver then extract lsfix.zip and dont delete the eqmain.dll

I don't think I had the version with your eqgame in it at first. But I downloaded a new fix and noticed it in it. I will give it another go Shawn. I patched as far as the old downloading bar and was able to get as far as making a guy but the zone crashes whenever loading in a map file and if I don't use the maps eqw just goes away. This is with the patching as far as the old download way.

Okay I got it going, I think the site I got the fix from before was a bad one cause after I patched and used the fix with eqgame in it, it worked no problems.
