I havnt patched in a long time, should be able to connect.
Anyways, I have a seperate EQ Folder for EQEmu, the target is right, the host is right, but when I type in login and pw, it just freezes then crashes. Anyone know what the problem is? Yes I searched the forums, sorry If there is a fix to this already posted and I didn't see it. And yes, I did the new account activation thing already, I used to use forum login, but I made a new one when I saw that, still freezing after that, my eq host keeps getting reverted back to some crap thats not right. I see other people with this problem, but no fix. Are there currently no working guides so I can double check everything? Everyone I see either is a broken link or says its out of date and doesn't work. I feel like im in a ghost town.
Appreciate the help. |
my web will help you and now we dont have wares on my site but you might find it usefull

I beleive that link you have is against forum rules. It links directly to a page with a link to the patcher download. The only way i know of that you are allowed to post a link is if the link is to the main page of the server site. not the "how to connect and download illegal eq files" page.
could be wrong. maybe a mod will input a little. |
oh sorry diden't notice sorry again changed link

Wtf, I don't need warez, I havn't patched in a long time so I should be able to connect to eqemu servers and get their patch. Nobody knows why my eqhost is auto changing and im crashing?
|
well you kinda do if you want to play the new server you need to patch and go to my site and than go to connect then make your EQhost read only that should solve your problem
|
You will need the original eqhost to patch up, if you are not using eqgame patchme, or eqw with write protection on eqhost it's going to change everytime you try to run Everquest.
If the servers are up to date, you have to be up to date, this isn't like Ultima Online where you can squeak by with an out dated client on a private shard. From what I gather at least, I may be way off on that one though. |
